The location is amazing, you can walk everywhere or take the tram to any popular attraction.

Housed in a converted prison from 1837, this atmospheric hotel is found on Katajanokka Island in central Helsinki. The hotel is charming - a tastefully converted prison! The room we had was perfect - everything worked! The hotel is perfectly situated for the Viking Line terminal and is right on the number 4 tram route which makes getting into the city centre very easy (although this is a very pleasant 15 minute walk if you don't want to use the tram). The breakfast offering is superb and the dinner menu is excellent with freshly cooked and well presented dishes. The staff are very welcoming and exceptionally helpful.

It was one of the most luxurious experiences I have had. The breakfast was incredible and the staff was so kind and helpful. A big bonus is that the hotel is located so central; everything is in walking distance.

Uno de los mejores hoteles en los que he estado. Hermosas instalaciones, personal muy amable, excelente habitación. Muy buen desayuno. Relación calidad-precio totalmente imbatible. Totalmente recomendable.

Scandic Grand Central Helsinki dispone de bicicletas gratis, centro de fitness, jardín y salón de uso común en Helsinki. La recepcionista super amable y gentil, hablaba español, el desayuno alucinante, muy completo, buenísima variedad y la ubicación magnífica, cerca de todo.

Located by the waterfront of Katajanokka, Scandic Grand Marina is housed in 1920s Art Nouveau building and offers free WiFi, sauna, gym and a 24-hour on-site shop. Very nice hotel with spacious and well equipped rooms. Spotless clean, comfy bed, excellent breakfast. Very helpful reception. We've stayed there a couple of times due to its location near Katajanokka ferry terminal and definitely will visit again.
