A perfect location - few minutes away from the Amstredam Centraal, but very, very quite with a nice canal view right in front of the doors and good places to have breakfast / lunch just around the corner (or, across the bridge - to be more precise) . The room is not too big. In fact, it's quite ascetic - though there is a private bathroom with shower and bed is very comfortable - much better comparing to well known hotel chains in Europe. The building is historic, which means one sometimes can hear some noises from other persons living there (like somebody climbing stairs), but that definitely is a minor thing - it just confirms the authenticity of the building. David is very friendly and helpful person. It's easy and pleasant to communicate with him and to agree about the details.

This place is truely outstanding- short distances to almost everything, the most kind host ever, great room with coffee and a bench in front of the canal to relax - let alone they did recognize my birthday nicely and had nice recommendations for breakfast and dinner alike. I will definitely come back, Fatos!

We arrived very tired from traveling from long flights, but when Mark came to greet us and we settled into this cozy stylish space, we felt instantly relaxed. The room itself felt welcoming - it was nearly laid out and nicely designed to detail. It was a short distance walk to everything and it was the perfect location for a first timer in Amsterdam. We would love to stay here again when we return. Thank you Mark and Paul for being such awesome hosts.

Loved it. Room was amazing and clean. Location was fabulous and near to the all main spots plus guest house near to the railway station, it was so comfortable. Room, bathroom, kitchen all were perfect. Plus owner is good guy, he is helpful. Everything is perfect

The location was amazing! Gorgeous part of Amsterdam. Right above a street market, so lots of amazing food right on your doorstep. The host, David, was also fantastic - so helpful and had great recommendations for things to see / do / eat while in Amsterdam.

Amazing place to stay. Close enough to city, transport is super easy. Facilities were perfect and we had everything we needed including little extras. Would definitely recommend especially if you want to stay somewhere more traditional. Beautiful views from the balcony.
