The host was very accommodating and took care of me during the whole duration of my stay. They became a good friend of mine. The place was so clean and quiet. It is well maintained and cleaned everyday. Most of the things you can find in a hotel are also available like towels, free drinking water, shampoo and body soap is also available. They have free coffee, tea and biscuits. Even the beds and pillows are soft enough and comfortable to sleep on. You have your own light and bedside wall outlet for you to charge. There is also privacy as each bed has its own curtain you can close for privacy. There are cabinets you can use for your clothes and There is also a small grocery store near. Its definitely a good deal for money.

Stayed here a year ago and returned after having tried some other 'bedstay' places in Dubai (I was traveling with someone on a very low budget). Sky hostel had gone up in price, but exceeds by far other hostels in a similar price bracket in Dubai. Moreover, since last year there were quite a few improvements. Strict prohibition of alcohol and smoking, improved noise management and deluxe seats in the common area to name just a few. It proved also easier to use the kitchen as long-stayers not longer reside in the same apartment. The host is not only very friendly, but also efficient.

Lunar Hostel is a recently renovated homestay in Dubai, where guests can makes the most of its pool with a view, garden and terrace. This beachfront property offers access to darts. This was my first experience ever staying in a hostel and it was great. The rooms are clean, very comfortable. They have separate male/female rooms. The bathroom contains everything you need. Kitchen is fully equipped with everything needed for meals preparation. Washing machine available on request. Also there is a big living room where you can work, relax or just hang out with other guests. The staff is amazing. They went over and beyond to help make our day stay enjoyable. Also extremely accommodating because they provide 0-24h check-in which is really helpful for guests. Located in JBR is really an advantage for guests since there is so many activities to do in this area without using any kind of transportation. But if wanted there are tram/metro station only few minutes walk away. 10/10. ❤️
