Everything about the hotel is excellent EXCEPT :It was very poor that there was no management available in the middle of the night ( in the early hours of Thursday 24th August) to supervise the residents when the fire alarm sounded. The guests were confused and after the alarm stopped ringing the residents went back to bed. Then 5 to 10 minutes later the fire alarm rang again and the residents exited again without any hotel staff supervision or guidance. I learned the next day that these incidents were unexplained false alarms. There has been no formal communication about this from the Hotel. This is an expensive 4 star hotel and I think it is very poor show that the level of service they portray during the daytime is not matched during the night ! This is very disconcerting for a customer such as me. I would have expected an apology and some compensation for a ruined nights sleep for a very uncomfortable experience!

Talloires was as beautiful as ever.
Talloires was as beautiful as ever. Post-pandemic, the main holiday season seems to have truncated to July and August so visiting in June was agreeably quiet on the roads and for the facilities. However, some things like the facilities at La Clusaz in the Aravis mountains were not fully open, at least they were not on weekdays, not event the restaurants. This was not a major problem for us.

Talloires is a very nice village, away from the hustle and bustle of Annecy (very popular tourist destination). The lake makes this place very resting and very good to chill. Mountains are very close and offer a large choice of walking/hiking trails.

Talloire is a small village near Annecy lake, if you are looking for calm and great food (there are a buncyh of 5 stars restaurants near the lake) it is a very nice place.
Hiking is ok from there, but you still have a fair amount of walking before getting into the wild..

Great area for foodies.
Surrounded by mountains for walking and cycling
Winter season offers skiing nearby both downhill and cross country
I guess I like the place!
Location beautiful..Hotel with classic charm, full of character..
Lovley pool,
seating around pool tasteful and comfortable, shade from plentiful trees...
Absolutely spotless, varied tasty breakfast ....
Loved it.
Tasteful, understated and classic
Two little things :
Need another plug socket in room, maybe mirror over desk to dry / style hair with hairdryer..
Would be nice to have privacy on bedroom balcony...
Can see the people on balconies on either side...
Otherwise...
Will be back...
Absolutely beautiful hotel and location. The photos don’t do this place justice. So happy we chose to stay here, only a short drive from Annecy but is much more tranquil than the town. The views over the lake are exceptional. The staff were so helpful during our stay and the boat ride with the owner is a must!! Absolutely blown away by the beauty of this place. Will definitely be returning. And the spa is en extra treat too!
The location was perfect for walking around Talloires, especially via the footpath down the hill from the property. The view to the lake was also very pleasant, and it was too bad that wet weather prevented use of the front door patio with the lake view. Better weather would have made the patio a perfect spot to enjoy the lakeview with a glass of wine and some cheese.
They are exactly as they advertise themselves. a wonderfully homely hotel with top notch food and service in a beautiful setting! we found that the staff could not have been more helpful. It felt very relaxed and the rooms had been newly renovated when we arrived and were lovely!
Great three-star hotel with good value and seems recently renovated. Beautiful private lakeside area and other private garden areas. Rooftop restaurant and lounge/bar area for wonderful, peaceful views. Note that the back building of the hotel does not have a lift.
The pool is amazing, a perfect sun trap!
It was exactly what we needed, we were travelling with a toddler and needed an adjoining room for her to sleep in, the room although smallish was perfect really.
We used the hotel for a babysitter, Sophie was amazing!
Great location, super convenient e-bike rental directly from hotel.
Super nice and accommodating front desk and wait staff made staying here an absolute pleasure.
We entered from the back and noticed the hotel composts food waste. Wonderful to see!

It was a sweet home in such a beautiful location. We really loved Talloires and the entire Lake Annecy area. The lake is so beautiful and our daughter went on the slide into the lake. The home is very well furnished in many ways.
Very comfortable place, with everything that we needed.
the location is nice, quiet and very close to the lake and a beautiful village.
value for money 100%. Will be going back once we visit Annecy again.
the Hotel is lovely with wonderful views of the water and is located in a quiet area on the water. we rented bikes and road around part of the lake and towards the mountains. it was beautiful.
location, swimming, restaurant staff were excellent, spa, amenities, breakfast was good but very expensive! Adjustable AC in room. Nice cleaning staff.
