We have stayed in Ballygarry hide hotel maybe times over the years, and would have made more trips if Covid had never intervened.
We cannot imagine staying anywhere else in Tralee!
Take a step back in time with a hotel steeped in history that offers luxurious surroundings within 30 acres of private gardens and woodland.

Absolutely wonderful, we stayed in the Lodge and the room had so much character and charm, such a classic feel and super private and comfortable! A beautiful bath featured in the main room, yet there was a huge shower and separate bathroom too. The bed was extremely comfy and robes / towels / slippers etc all provided. The restaurant was fantastic, we received excellent service, along with excellent food and drinks. The wolfhounds were so friendly and curious and followed us back to the lodge each time, so fun!

We enjoyed our stay very much, however i had booked w Maud almost 10 months in advance asked for a certain table in the restaurant which was agreed on ,and then not available ,so this was very disappointing,as we were only a group of 8/9people wanted a round table and as you know changed the whole dynamic.I also requested cocktails before dinner this was also a big issue as the barman was busy at another function,we stayed at the hotel which was very pleasant but overall was disappointed with our meal only because of the facts that I have outlined,it was a special occasion and didn’t quite live up to my expectations, the staff are very caring and helpful and I wish you all a good season.

Good shower, good food lovely staff great location
This was a great stay for our short trip. Very close to eating establishments and bus and train stations. Lovely and very clean accommodations. We loved Finnegan's Pub where Sean, our bartender really made us feel at home. What a great welcome to Ireland! This place was so well located! We walked from the train station to this property very easily and my husband has Parkinson's. The hotel offered a lift which was great. "The Mall" was literally a two minute walk and full of stores to shop and places to eat. There was also a bus stop very nearby for us to get to Dingle.

Very nice town, and very clean.
There was a lot going on the weekend we were there, but it was still very easy to get around and find parking adjacent to the town centre.
Our kids loved the Aquadome and would have stayed there for the entire visit!.
Tralee was also a great starting point for daytime to Dingle, Killarney, etc.

Tralee is a small town, but that is a large part of its charm. We were fortunate enough to stay in Tralee while they had a street festival in the town square, which made our stay all the more enjoyable.

I can't give many tips after only a one night stay, but I'd definitely recommend a pint at The Blasket pub followed by dinner at Cassidy's. A walk through the rose garden is also recommended.

I enjoyed the friendliness of the people, the Museum of Kerry, the Central Park and of course the live music and Guinness in some of the old bars. Public transport didn’t seem that good though and I decided to take a taxi to the airport which was about 30 Euros with a tip which I thought reasonable for the distance.
Barrow Lodge was a highlight of our trip! Clodagh was delightful and bent over backwards to make sure we had everything we needed. The rooms were gorgeous, the breakfast delicious, and the view was spectacular. We were playing Tralee Golf Course and we walked there when we arrived. Clodagh called ahead and had them reserve the best table in the house. She also offered to host breakfast before their normal hours for us given our early tee time. The only problem was we only stayed there one night! Wish it had been longer.
The staff were very nice polite and helpful. It was the first time in a hotel that everything on the menu for dinner had a gluten-free alternative. Well done on that.👌 Looks like a lot of renovation had been recently finished. There was nice old-world feel to the place. The barman Peter is a real asset to Benners. Very good breakfast as well with gluten-free options again. Would definitely stay there again.
Perfect location centre of Tralee and all attractions easily accessible from there.
Property is in an excellent location just a 10 minute walk from centre of Tralee. Room was very spacious and extremely clean. Great selection of food for both breakfast and dinner. Staff were super friendly always acknowledged us even when just walking past in a corridor. Excellent covid 19 measures in place felt safe and at ease for the duration of our stay. Would highly recommend Meadowlands Hotel. Family friendly hotel my 3 year old loved his stay.
On our arrival in Tralee we were greeted with a massive rainstorm which essentially confined us to the hotel. Fortunately, the hotel's spacious rooms, the ambiance of the pub, and the excellent fare in the restaurant (order the seafood platter!) made our confinement an enjoyable experience.
Very good value for money on this beautiful hotel on the outskirt of Tralee. Staffs were all so pleasant and very accommodating to our needs. The breakfast area has a wonderful view and ofcourse food were all lovely with so much choices. Excellent stay. We love it.
Everything! it’s a beautiful hotel and very clean. loved the atmosphere. The staff was so helpful and accommodating. my son and I traveled all over the southwest part of Ireland and this was one of my favorite places. I would highly recommend
The property was located just a short walk from shops and sights in Tralee and Blennerville. It was a nice residential area with schools nearby.
The host and hostess were gracious people who made me feel at home.
