The location is quiet even though it's beside the road. We loved the free parking. The room is very spacious and the terrace was also a nice place to hangout. The room was clean with everything you need. The breakfast was really good. I really enjoyed their continental breakfast. Fresh bread was great! We had our dog with us so we can't leave him in our room and they are also not allowed in the breakfast room. They will provide you with trays so you can bring your food to your room. The pictures on the website is exactly what you will see at the hotel.

Very nice place and close to the beach village Den Koog (less than 5 minutes by bike). Rob and Monika were really nice hosts, and the breakfast was amazing outside in the garden. We did not use the spa zone this time but it looked great, for sure we will come back for the sauna and jacuzzi in the future.

De Koog has a smaller town with fewer high street shops than the main centre of Texel (Den Berg) but it has enough. The advantage is that De Koog is next to the beach (the main centre of Texel isn't). In De Koog there is a good variety of quality restaurants. It is ideal for beach walks, cycling and walking in the forest.

Great little resort town, with all the amenities one would like, including bars, restaurants, a large supermarket and, of course, many places to stay at. The Italian gelato is a highlight, but nothing compares to the beautiful beaches!

De Koog is a village on the island Texel.
De Koog is a village on the island Texel. It has access to the beach, a busy village center, with shops and many restaurants, cafe's, and terraces. Discover the whole of the island by any means you like. Walking, cycling, or even by car even though you probably have to walk or bike to go places in nature where the car can't go.
Unless you just want to spend your time on terraces and beaches, which is perfectly doable on Texel.

I stayed for two nights. The breakfast was good but not good as I expected. The room was clean and have a great view to the city. In addition the location of the hotel was the best you could reach to the beach by 10 min walk.
I have ordered the birthday decoration but they only gave me two balloons and a chocolate. I embarrassed in front ofy wife. Because I wanted to surprise her which I did but other way around.
I ask for slippers which is normally free and included in the hotel but I have been charged for 2.50 euro. The room service was not good they only clean the bathroom and probably do vacuum cleanings and bearly tiding the bed. Even the towels did not changed.

It is one of the best holiday destination .lots of food options ,easy access to most of the things ,excellent beaches and very good hiking trails ...You will keep walking but you will never get tired as such is the beauty of nature around De Koog.
We should’ve stayed there in February but because of very bad weather the hotel allowed us to reschedule to April. This was excellent service!
The room is basic, but has all the necessities. Only missing a way to prepare a hot meal, we knew that in advance and adjusted our plans. There are enough possibilities on the island to eat for different budgets.
The hotel is in the middle of De Koog. There is a supermarket across the street. Bakery, dozens of restaurants and the beach are also a short stroll away.
Dog is welcome too!
Great location, close to everything and still quiet. I wanted to point out the excellent staff, we arrived at the island by the last ferry at 21:30, I wrote to them that we were late and they were waiting to welcome us even though the check-in time is until 21:00. The breakfast was exceptional, with fresh fruits and vegetables. It is recommended to rent a bike at the hotel, leave the car in the parking lot and explore the island by bike.
Very very very nice people, we felt very welcomed. This feels good.
Nice atmosphere. Breakfast very good. Room is somehow small, but fine. Notice: the rooms facing the street are a bit noisy. Important: parking is included, which is pretty necessary.
I would recommend a stay in this hotel and would come back. Price is o.k. (Town Centre / near the beach).
Perfect location, bordering the coastal dunes and forest, close to both the sea and the centre of the village De Koog, with various shops and excellent restaurants. Clean and nicely decorated rooms, with all one needs for a stay. Professional and nice host, Tanja, who responds quickly on questions. Highly recommended.
Excellent apartment right in the middle of De Koog. Minute walk to the bars/restaurants and about 10 to the beach. Very clean and comfortable feel. Just make sure you bring everything you would use at home since the apartment only has the basics on the kitchen and nothing in the bathroom except for toilet paper.
Great location near the center of De Koog and the beach. The beds are comfortable. There is a parking place behind the apartments. Also the supermarkets are very close by. The hostess was very kind, check-in and check-out was very quick and easy in hotel Zeerust, opposite of the apartments.
Everything! The friendly atmosphere , the cleanliness and comfort from the rooms, the super location along with the in-house bar are the reason we choose to vacation here every year (8X). The super breakfast deserves to be mentioned also.
All in all we can highly recommend this Hotel!!
Excellent service great room, lovely food, very dog friendly. It is very central in the De Koog, in 2 min walking distance to shops and restaurants. Had a table tennis in the play area. Extra cost per dog is €20 per night. Parking is ample and free.
We stayed in the new building next to the hotel and it was very cosy and comfortable. We had the best sleep in months, it was quiet (probably because it’s October, out of season, but still nice). We would love to come again.
Perfect location near the center of De Koog and also next to the beach. Clean, modern and quiet rooms. Rich and very tasty breakfast (including local products). Very friendly and helpful staff.
I liked the surrounding area, it’s quiet and close to the city of De Koog. Hotel is renewed inside and rooms are spacious, beds are great. We took a room with a terrace, which was also nice.
Perfect location. Close to the busy town but far away enough to not hear much noise.
Staff is friendly, room and hotel look nice. Bed is very comfy. Breakfast was good. Free parking on-site.
The hotel was recently renovated and looked good. The breakfast was good but nothing excellent. The inner garden was great and offered some good place for relaxation.
Super arranged breakfast in a near hotel. Roomy house literally at the border of De Koog city. No downside in terms of sound noticed being so close to the city.
