Nice large and clean room, a bit noisy (permanently humming noise from some equipment - ventilation maybe)

I stay at this hotel several times a year transiting through Iceland. The staff are chill and helpful. I appreciate the spacious lobby with spaces to work or chill, proximity to the swimming pool and restaurants, and helpful staff.
Situated in Keflavík, 20 km from Blue Lagoon, Courtyard by Marriott Reykjavik Keflavik Airport features accommodation with a fitness centre, free private parking, a shared lounge and a restaurant.
Great location 10 minutes from the Blue lagoon. We stayed here on our first night in Iceland going straight from the airport to the Blue lagoon then checked in.
Not a lot here but there’s a pretty church here
Tip: don’t buy supplies in the airport shop - we stocked up & it cost us a fortune. There’s a Netto in Grindavík

Grindavik is a small, beautiful fishing village close to the Geldingadalur volcano (but not too close) and the Blue Lagoon. It has many excellent hiking opportunities and great restaurants. Grindavik is surrounded by a beautiful natural landscape. Whale-watching, fishing, mountaineering, very friendly people, safe environment, you name it, Grindavik has it all!

Great location for Meradalir.
Great location for Meradalir. Fabulous fish and chips at Papas - Grindavik is a fishing town, so all fish is fresh that morning. Lovely walking around the town. Very peaceful. Great for exploring south coast and peninsula. Only 25 mins from Keflavik.

We stopped for one night during our Iceland tour to visit the Blue Lagoon and Fagradalsfjall, the volcano that erupted in 2021 and is still smoldering several months later. Grindavik is a working fishing village with a few local restaurants, grocery store and pharmacy, so is a really good spot to stay for a day when touring Iceland. It is not touristy though so don’t expect lots of shops selling the usual.

This is a dock terminal terrible views, bad aspect for tourists, cabin super smaill no microwave, no waste basket in bathroom, nothing to sweep with, place is creepy, huge caping yard nezt to the property that makes it seem dangerous. Lonely area! For this price you can get a top notch place.

Grindavik is a lovely town with a huge fisherman history.
Grindavik is a lovely town with a huge fisherman history. It's super close to the Blue lagoon and volcano so, there are many options for hiking or relaxing. There's a grill place with a super nice man who told me a little about the history and life of Grindavik's people and he also sells awesome hotdogs. Wish I could've stayed longer but a huge storm came so I had to run away :)
Very friendly staff, excellent facilities, very good breakfast. The location was convenient for our itinerary as it was less then 30 mins drive from the airport and was a good starting point for our road trip the next day. It was also a short drive from the Blue Lagoon and the Bridge Between Continents. The hotel was modern and and was located in a fairly bland part of Grindavik - it is not the sort of place where you stay if you want charm or character, but it was a convenient and comfortable, if relatively overpriced, stop.
This was our favorite hotel ever, period. Their private Blue Lagoon pools were so beautiful. We were in and out of them all day. The restaurants were all delicious. Moss was super delicious - every course - and also a really fun experience. Not pretentious. And for lunch I recommend the the teriyaki beef carpaccio in the spa restaurant. So good! (And even more fun to have in your bathrobe between swims!)
Aside from the proximity to the Blue Lagoon, my favorite surprise was how warm and welcoming the owners are. They went above and beyond with their sincere hospitality and even helped me set up a private taxi tour in the morning before I flew home. The breakfast has a good variety: hard boiled eggs, various cereals, yogurt, granola, bread, cheese, some fruit and plenty of coffee. This is a great find!
Very comfy and cozy hotel close to Blue Lagoon. It's next to a Power station but don't let that put you off as it doesn't impact on the hotel and is quite dramatic at night when its lit up. Restaurant was excellent and honesty bar was a nice touch. Didn't use the shuttle bus to the Blue Lagoon as it only runs once per hour. Only about 20mins from the airport and easy to find.
it was absolutely glorious! Well presented, spacious, comfortable. Close to a supermarket, The Blue Lagoon and a number of restaurants. It was the perfect base for us to explore Reykjavík, the Golden Circle and the Blue Lagoon. A truly authentic Icelandic experience.
You will not be disappointed if you stay here! it is immaculate.
Hotel staff was friendly throughout our stay. The hotel was bright, cheerful & comfortable. The room was bright and beds comfortable. The breakfast was appreciated. We were able to extend our checkout to 1pm since I had an activity that took me over the 11 normal time so my spouse was comfortable in the hotel waiting for me.
The location and the view are perfect. The room was clean and well equipped. The bathroom was nice too. We had one of our best sleep here. The breakfast was superb. You got premium Blue Lagoon tickets with a free drink. Try out the Hotel's own Blue lagoon, it is not crowded.
The space was comfortable and the host was gracious. You really need to have a car to stay here. The host family provided transportation which helped, but distances from the blue lagoon were too far for walking.
We arrived early due to our flight time but we’re able to use the beautiful lagoon. The hotel was peaceful and we totally relaxed. The staff were very friendly and helpful and The room was exceptional.
The hosts were very friendly and helpful, and the accomodation was incredibly comfortable, nicer than in my own apartment. I would without a doubt stay again if I'm ever in Grindavík.
Room was newly renovated and clean with enough space. There was a fridge and hairdryer. The breakfast was simple but for us it was OK. The Hotel is really close to Blue Lagoon resort.
These little cabins are located right on the harbor in Grindavik. Our cabin had everything we could need, a kitchenette, a sitting area, an en suite bathroom and a separate bedroom.
Great value for money considering how expensive hotels are in Iceland. The staff were really lovely, we had a small issue with our room and they came and sorted it out immediately.
Location was in Grindavik, close to the Volcano. First day and night after our flight in. Set up like a long-stay suite with self-catering kitchen facilities. Worked for our needs.
