Limenaria is a terribly crowded locality. I recommend it to those who do not go on vacation for rest. If you have a week off and you want to enjoy the sea, but also to rest after a whole year of work, Limenaria is not what you need.

The view from there is breathtaking but the drive in is not for the faint hearted. We were really pleased to have local residents lead us up there. Operating restaurants, shops, pharmacies, cafes and medical services at any time of the year, close enough to other interesting destinations, easily accessible by car, extremely beautiful place with many sites to see. Small town in the south of Thassos with plenty of tavernas and bars by the beach, I could advice the Navagio bar on the beach at night for wonderful cocktails and scenery. Busy town at times but generally quiet, more family oriented. Mainly Balkan and Greek tourism. Great place in the south, which has the nicest beaches, with sea amenities to use a base to visit this wonderful underrated island. The Villa is really nice, everything is new, there is everything that you will need, it is really beautiful and cozy! It is even better than the pictures! :) The host is so nice and available for anything you need! We had a little bit problem with the car and we delayed with the chek-in - the host was so nice and waited for us and welcomed us with a good homemade liqueur - it was so nice! :) Highly recommend Villa Pines for stay in Thassos.

The view from our room at the top was breathtaking, it was like we were on a cruise ship, the sea was feeling so close. The food was verry good and tasty and again, the services both at the complex and restaurant were top notch. Beach with sand umbrellas and sun beds are right in front of the hotel.

Every day we went to the beach, hiked, and explored the island. A 360° view is guaranteed from the house. Only goats and sheep live nearby, yet you can walk to the center of Kastro in 5 minutes. I recommend it to everyone who wants to break away from mass tourism.
