Location, breakfast, comfortable bed, clean room. Wildlife in the yard. We selected this facility based on the offering of a breakfast. And the homemade breakfast was absolutely AWESOME.

Gardiner is a very small town and completely tourist related. Not enough restaurants, though we were a bit after "season". Hotel was really good. Gardiner is convenient to the north side of Yellowstone. The NE entrance is closer to Lamar Valley but the town there is even smaller

Sleepy country town located at the North Yellowstone entrance. Great for access to northen areas for wildlife sightings. Bison, Bear, Wolf, Coyote, Elk everywhere. Food varieties are somewhat limited. Mostly American fare, quite pricey and not that great. For relaxation, I highly recommend Yellowstone Hot Springs a few miles out of town. Inexpensive and a class act!

The views were beautiful! Our room was great.
The views were beautiful! Our room was great. We met many friendly people there. Mostly its location just outside Yellowstone NP made this a wonderful place for our vacation. There were tons of shops and restaurants but we didn't have time to stay because we were travelling to Yellowstone.

We loved the location, the scenery, and the size of the cabin. Having 5 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms was wonderful! The light bulbs in the majority of the home could be a little brighter as it was difficult to read in the late afternoon and evening. Adding TV's in at least two of the bedrooms would be a big plus so we all didn't have to watch the same TV program. The picture of the home on the website showed a telescope on the front deck, but it wasn't there when we arrived. I could have used the telescope to see the beautiful stars at night, and the wildlife on the ridge of the mountains.

I loved the hot springs.
I loved the hot springs. Also close to Yellowstone Park, which I explored some. I've been to the area many times and only live a couple of hours away in Idaho, but occasionally it is nice to stay there.

Our visit was just overnight, but the time we had there and the slow drive through town made us wish we had a least an extra few days to stay in town. Plenty of outdoor activities and a charming town to explore as well.
This house is amazing, real close to Gardiner and the park´s North entrance. We visited during winter and being in this cabin felt like home, warm and comfy, every space has been carefully and motherly thought, everything we needed was there to use, the kitchen is fully equipped, beautiful bathrooms, large living room spaces, and I must say my favorite were the big windows with just and amazing view to the mountains. My family and I loved our stay, and we would absolutely come back.
Location was perfect.....not right on top off Gardiner in town traffic by Yellowstone N. entrance (though quiet since N. entrance closed at moment because of flood road issues)..... I was in area to attened the Yellowstone international ats festival outdoor event at the Hot Springs in Corwin Springs nearby. Their is a bridge to cross over the Yellowstone River to explore other homes/ ranches & wildlife across from it. That was fun since I saw Yellowstone Park last year.
The worst hotel I have ever stayed in America. Carpet stank, lift stank and rattled, no breakfast even after booking.com saying breakfast was included, rude staff at reception, lights not working in the room, no proper body lotion or cream provided, I can add more. We were visiting Yellowstone National park and expected more from this stay. At $203 per night it was not a cheap booking either!!
What an exceptionally nice property there’s a little mini kitchen. Everything has been redone and it’s been redone with very good taste. The location is a little funky. It’s up gravel road in a residential area, but that means the rooms are very quiet and very private. I was more than pleased. It’s the best hotel. I’ve stayed at in a very long time. If you can stay there too it’s really nice.
The owner met us in reception and the cabin was as expected. The nice touch was his attitude, helpful when we borrowed some DVD's and when we broke our bottle opener. The property is very near a food store and this town is very expensive when eating out. So we took ther opportunity to eat in and it was great. Very close to the park entrance. Book it , you wont be dissapointed.
Dreamcatcher was a total dream. This location and property is unlike any other! If you get a chance to visit Gardiner and northern Yellowstone please take a day or two to stay at this hotel! The tipi's are comfy and luxurious and the bathroom facilities were beyond my expectations - very clean and modern! I would definitely make plans to stay here again if I'm in the area.
Its a clean std motel room, in Gardiner which is located on the Park entrance. The room looks new and clean but the walls are very thin so you hear the neighbours TV. The window in our room , looked on the parking where people were walking. After being in Gardiner, there are hotels with river view so if U are looking for a room with a view, it's not the place for U.
For context, we had been traveling for almost a month. We like to camp for 5-6 days...then "treat" ourselves to 1-2 nights in a small hotel/motel. By the time we landed in Gardiner, wee were getting weary of the low to no availability of decent (i.e., clean, safe, quiet, and reasonably priced) hotel rooms. This place was a wonderful surprise! Welcoming staff too!
Loved everything about it. The owners have gone above and beyond with the property and facilities. Every little detail was just perfect. Cleanliness was higher than most of the 5 star hotel/lodges we have stayed in. The campfire banter with the other guests was lovely to finish the day. Couldn’t rate this experience highly enough.
We rented a 1bd/sofa pull out suite with kitchen. Perfect for our 2 small kids and a great vacay to Yellowstone. We enjoyed the walk down to the river, the deck overlooks, nice guests and walked all over Gardiner. Easy parking and overall 10/10 would return and for longer if it wasn’t so hard on the pocketbook.
Because there are two million visitors each year to Yellowstone, there are very few hotels, campgrounds, etc., designed to house that level of guests. This place was run down, dingy, dusty but there are not many choices of places to stay, so you are forced to take the good with the not so good.
Staff was friendly and made us feel welcome. Loved the suite that we booked which allowed us to cook (there's a supermarket nearby as well!) and we could adjust the temperature in the room to keep us nice and warm. We had a great stay and would come back here to stay again!
Hotel is nice, tidy and quiet, and in a great location. The room was a great size and the shower was excellent. We would stay here again. The food in the bar was really good too.
Room was very clean. It is walking distance to restaurants. Could hear elk bugling nearby which we loved. Very convenient to park entrance so we coul get an early start.
