We enjoyed a suite that had 3 beds-one bed in a separate room and 2 beds in an efficiency type room with a table and chairs. We loved that an excellent restaurant was attached to the hotel….food was excellent and also had a Starbucks for my daughter.

I travel to Sault Saint Marie for work every 2 weeks.

I travel to Sault Saint Marie for work every 2 weeks. It's got everything one would need when staying there....plenty of decent hotels, eateries and shopping areas. Sault Saint Marie is a town you pass through heading west, or heading east from Manitoba, through Ontario, or to Sault, Michigan.

We were here for fall train trip and it was nice. Not needed again though. We went to a different place for every lunch and dinner. We had 2 serving staff that weren’t of a spicy attitude. The other 2 were nice and friendly. The food was fair but nothing that was amazing. I won’t go to the Sault again. Very pretty area though!

We went for fall foliage and were not disappointed- it was gorgeous! Hike Robertson Cliffs! We also did the Agawa Canyon Train and, hmm. We had hoped for a spectacular train ride, and it wasn't. The canyon itself is gorgeous, but you get 1 1/2 hours there which isn't much considering the train ride is 8 hours r/t. Most of the other passengers were elderly though so it seemed about right for the less mobile. We enjoyed the canal site and all the historical markers, but unfortunately went on Sunday and discovered the visitor center is closed on weekends. Huh? The seaplane museum was open and fascinating.

No police in Sault Ste Marie?

No police in Sault Ste Marie? People were drag racing up and down the Main Street in front of hotel all night. Hotel was dated and shabby but clean. For the price it wasn’t good value at all. I’ve paid similar rates at hotels that were well kept and updated. It was clean and staff were nice though.

I don’t know. Even though it says in the policy that they are pet friendly, they ARE NOT! They took my money but didn’t let me stay. I was moving from west to east Canada with my dog and we had to stay in a Motel after being rejected by this scammer hotel. They made me pay in advance, rejected me and my family, but made sure to take my money.

This is a very nice hotel. I was pleasantly surprised. My room was so nice. Lovely art work, amazing linens, all white and pristine. Very comfortable bed. I had a fridge and microwave. Wonderful pool. Breakfast for the 3 days was varied each day and excellent. A mall across from it and also a boardwalk alongside the river.

It was the best hotel, I will recommend it to everyone and I will always stay there ourselves.. The rooms are big, there is a lot of space when the kids are small, there is a place where they can play, jump and run, there is a place for luggage, a small kitchen, which is very convenient. It's not a room, it's a spacious apartment...

The location is perfect for travellers passing through on the Trans-Canada. the on-site facilities are fantastic, the indoor pool is large, and the outdoor whirlpool allows for the perfect way to unwind after a long drive. Friendly staff, the front desk clerk remembered me from a previous stay. Spacious, clean rooms.

We drove past the hotel. There was not great signage or lighting. The staff was great, but the room was very cramped, the bathroom door was broken, beds were comfy but no blankets. We had to bring one in from our camping stuff. It advertised breakfast. But it was a “bagged” breakfast. Quite expensive for what we got.

The front desk was very accommodating and kind to there guests. The hotel was very clean as well as my room I stayed in. The breakfast was very small and did not feed enough people each morning and the selection did not satisfy me each morning, there was not much food to choose from.

The breakfast was very fresh. The room was clean as was the hotel itself. Parking was free and on the premises with easy access to the front desk. The bar on site “Soo Blaster” has great food, games, prices and a staff that can’t do enough for you.

Building was dated, but super clean. We normally stay at the big name hotels when traveling, but this trio only stayed at the smaller “mom and pop” motels. Definitely great value! Highly recommend!
