I had to be in this area for some work and booked one night here. I had little expectation that this would be any good as it was quite cheap for the Reykjavik district. What I found was a fantastic boutique hotel that has amazing rooms and is very clean. Nearby are a number of decent restaurants within a 5 minute walk.

A quaint pub was on the property and although they did not have a kitchen to provide dinner there were local options nearby and, they did offer and traditional Icelandic breakfast in the morning as well as offer a delicious lamb soup that we had for lunch while staying there. The staff member who checked us in was nice and welcoming. The room was simple but spacious and clean. There seem to be sufficient places to eat and do your grocey shopping in the area. The location is great. Half way between the airport and Thingvellir park.
