Basecamp Wales offers family-run hostel accommodation in Llanllyfni, on the edge of the Snowdonia National Park and 30.3 km from Pen-Y-Pass and 8.2 km to the beach at Dinas Dinlle. Lovely countryside location. Bus connections within 10-15 min walk taking you all over Snowdonia and beyond. Views of Snowdon directly outside the window Really nice people who own and run the hostel. Whole place feels very clean!

Situated in Betws-y-coed, 20 km from Snowdon, Woodlands Centre features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace. Amazing location close to restaurants and beautiful walks close by. The buses to Snowdonia are within a 5 minute walk of the hostel as well which was great! The common areas were spacious, a large kitchen to use, showers had hot water and the beds were wooden so there was no squeaking. The staff were lovely and gave us advice for our trip - would stay here again next time we’re back!

Situated in a converted school house, Lodge Dinorwig is located in Dinorwig, 8 km from Snowdon. Free private parking is available on site. I had a lovely stay, this hostel is perfectly designed and managed, it is nice and tidy and people there are really nice. Breakfast was very good.

Located in Caernarfon and within 13 km of Snowdon Mountain Railway, Totters Hostel features a shared lounge, non-smoking rooms, and free WiFi. The living room and the dining room are really cozy. You could make yourself breakfast in the dining room as well. Staff was helpful and friendly. Plenty of good places to eat at near the hostel.

We were already excited by the drive up through the beautiful wooded valley. When we arrived we were overwhelmed with the beauty and tranquility of the location. The property was so clean and comfortable and big enough to accommodate us all very easily. We were fortunate enough to have lots of sunshine so we enjoyed walks, a BBQ and a fire. We had plenty of shared meals in the big dining room.

Placed at the foot of Snowdon Mountain, the YHA Snowdon Pen-y-Pass is surrounded by stunning Welsh landscape in a rural location, with no mobile phone signal - offering guests a break from technology.... super cute place and literally right at the beginning of the trail to hike snowdon! nice restaurant and felt cozy like a cabin!

Set in Betws-y-coed, 22 km from Snowdon, FSC Rhyd-y-Creuau Hostel offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking and a shared lounge. Location, lovely staff, delicious breakfasts, free access to most of the building (lounge, game room, library), bonfire area. Mattress was quite hard but that's what we like and we slept like a babies
