ONSEN RYOKAN Yuen Sapporo features a sauna and a hot spring bath, as well as air-conditioned accommodation in the centre of Sapporo, 1.8 km from Sapporo Station. I enjoyed the tasteful design and ambiance. A modern take on traditional Japanese hospitality. The room was spacious, and the location close to the Hokkaido university botanic garden.

Everything was amazing at Zaborin. The snow view was beautiful and surreal. Room price included both breakfast and dinner. Unlike some meal inclusive resorts, the food quality here was superior and on par with what you would get at top-tier restaurants. The service is also impeccable. All the staff we met were amazing and epitome of Japanese service.

Everything of this ryokan (quality room, great food, attentive service) has been to me perfect. In particular, I enjoy the onsen and like the history and tradition of the ryokan.

The architecture of the house is modern with traditional Japanese elements. The rooms are comfortable with beautiful views. The dinner and the breakfast is delicious. It is conveniently located to explore splendid Shiretoko and to have a unique taste of Japanese hospitality.

Offering affordable Japanese-style accommodations, Mimatsuso Ryokan is a 5-minute drive on the free shuttle from JR Asahikawa Train Station. The host is a family. Very kind and warm place to stay. The Japanese breakfast is delicious - they are able to cater my dietary concern. I appreciate that they offered hot tea and biscuit when I returned to the room after full day out.

The hotel was next to the ice festival and it was amazing. The food was delicious and the staff was so nice. Also the onsen was great. I would recommend!
