This is the perfect example of why we should take names of staff.
I was genuinely so impressed by the staff at this hotel.
Firstly was whoever the young man was at the coffee dock around 4 am he served my room 140 a decaf latte if that helps find him yet he was also there at reception when I checked out after my mother had at 4 to travel abroad.
I checked out at about 07:20 and l had ordered room service around 21:30 but tried to cancel it immediately and it was just too complicated to render and they asked me to go downstairs but I was exhausted.
They advised that in the am I should go to the coffee dock yet they weren’t certain what to do either. That’s the only downside really. The room was cozy and my mother had a great time before I arrived later in the evening after work aha.
The lady at reception when I checked out had a distinct French accept and I believe she said she was from Maritus.
I was super impressed with how skilfully she dealt with my complaint and assured me the FNB staff would email me to render a refund so let’s see.
I hope this makes sense, I am bleary eyed after a long day at work but really wanted to take the time to comment on your staff, from those I met in the hallway when I was lost, to those at the coffee dock and reception they were all so pleasant.
That makes a HUGE difference when you are stressed and tired.
Warmly

The facilities were great and the room exceeded my expectation. A lot of places take photos with a wide lens to make it look more spacious, but our room really was very spacious and comfortable. Especially after coming from London where the reverse was true. We did not initially book the rooms with the hotel breakfast however we did change our mind on site and it was fantastic, they provide a delicious buffet style breakfast and also offer special orders such as fried eggs or waffles at no additional cost, simply just ask a server. On our last evening I ventured down to the gym and was pleasantly surprised how very good the gym facility was. Very well stocked on gym equipment! Suffice to say, a repeat at The Spencer Hotel next time I'm in Dublin is a high likelihood!

We checked in late afternoon (16:30) before our early morning flight back to the states. Our room was ready for us, and was a very lovely, quiet room, with all the comforts one might expect. After check in we used Uber to go to the Pier House in Howth for a wonderful dinner. (Highly recommend!) After dinner, we returned to the lounge downstairs in the hotel. It was very nice, except for some rowdy children whose parents totally ignored the fact that other guests were present... no fault of the hotel. The next morning, we used the very convenient and comfortable shuttle from the hotel to the airport.
This is so much easier than leaving from any downtown hotel. We will definitely do this again for any last nights in Dublin . Very highly recommend!

We were going on long haul flight and wanted nearest hotel to airport for a good nights sleep before our journey began. This we did not have due to the overpowering heat in room . Courtesy bus could not be found easily from Terminal 2

Exceptional hotel, staff at check-in, bar, waiting and cleaners do a good job and are welcoming and friendly. Decor is superb including fresh flower arrangements and breakfast was fabulous, the choice was amazing. Courtesy bus from airport was so handy, bus drivers had the same high standards of staff at the hotel. Highly recommend.
Clayton Hotel is very close to Dublin Airport which makes it ideal as an intermediate stopover. Online check in is available which saves time and all that is needed is to collect the room key at reception. The shuttle service provided is easy to access and drops you off at the door of the hotel or within a two minute walk from terminal 2. The onsite restaurant serves an excellent meal at a reasonable price.
We considered the Carlton good value for the price. Staff were all efficient, friendly and readily available if needed. Our room was spacious, clean, well-appointed and amazingly quiet being so close to the Dublin airport. Several on-site restaurants where we had a paid dinner one night (very nice!) and an excellent free breakfast the next morning. Easy access to the airport via the hotels shuttle.
I always stay at this hotel when I have to spend the night at Dublin airport. Friendly staff, usually very clean rooms (out of all my stays only once did I have an issue with cleanliness). The shuttle service is a big plus if you travel alone and land late at night. You can check in and out online which saves time. Highly recommend!
Right by Dublin Airport's terminal 2, this is a stylish hotel, very modern, bright and spacious for an airport hotel. Welcoming and friendly staff. My room was spotlessly clean with a big comfy bed. Great buffet breakfast and a good dinner with the option of the restaurant or bar food. Generally quiet despite the location.
Comfortable airport hotel very close to the terminal. We were stuck when Aer Lingus' systems went down. The hotel was a welcome place to sleep before catching a very early morning flight out of Dublin. It's located within site of the terminal and offers a free shuttle to get to the airport. The staff was excellent.
This was the best out of the 4 hotels we stayed in between Dublin, Galway, and Edinburgh. It's quite a more upscale hotel but not too high nosed. Our flight got delayed so we got in quite late but very please with how quick check in was. Breakfast was FABULOUS. The best! Comparable to other upscale Omni hotels.
It's an airport hotel so serves its purpose perfectly adequately. It's not a destination in itself nor would it be suitable if you want to explore Dublin as transport from Dublin Airport to the city centre is very infrequent - that's nothing to do with the hotel of course.
Rooms were very clean and comfortable without being memorable. The hotel staff were very nice in general. As an airport hotel it is very good but at the price per night, I would expect a lot more! Definitely too pricey but the same applies to all hotels in Dublin.
The hotel is incredibly modern, clean and has very friendly and helpful staff. The room was spacious, clean and very comfortable too. Check in and check out were both very quick and there is a shuttle bus to and from Dublin airport which is also very handy.
Excellent stay at your hotel. Flying out of Dublin airport following morning transport and staff ere very efficient. Restaurant and room were delightful. Will definitely stay again.
The staff were compassionate and very helpful throughout our brief stay. The staff assisted us with our luggage and securing a taxi to make our flight from Dublin Airport.
Stayed for one night before an early morning flight from Dublin airport.Left our car at the hotel carpark for better rate than airport carpark and used hotel shuttle bus.
