The polite ladies serving at the breakfast buffet. They lightened up the mood compared to that lousy guy from the lobby.

This was the best hotel I had stayed during my Iceland trip. The selling point of this room was how close we are to the view. Be sure to book the room with mountain view. The other rooms would be face the carpark. The room is a nice big size. Breakfast was decent too, just enough. I like that it was more like a motel feel. The black outer colour gave a luxurious feel. We had come from Vik and stayed the first night here. The next day was a short drive to Vestrahorn/Stokkness/Viking village. We finished it by 3pm and rested the rest of the evening. Perfect stay if you want to visit those places. Would definitely love to stay again.

The room curtains let the light around the sides during the night. Could be darker and be able to cover the sides. Since the bed was below the curtains, it was too bright early in the morning (3:30 am)

Lovely quiet village on the sea.
Lovely quiet village on the sea. The langoustine remind me more of shrimp due to the size. They are tasty and mild flavored. It’s a great place for a relaxing stay. We are at Kaffihornid. Lovely atmosphere, tasty burgers and lobster pasta and sandwich. I wouldn’t recommend the lobster soup. It’s a clear broth and doesn’t have much flavor, not worth the price in my opinion. We stayed at Skyaborg apartments and highly recommend them. ZBistro also has a breakfast restaurant, which is unusual for Iceland.

Very quaint and QUIET seaport town.
Very quaint and QUIET seaport town. A lot of the restaurants and bars were closed during my stay but was able to go to 1 of them which was lovely. It's a very far east part of Iceland I recommend going to, even if it is for 1 night.

Gem! This was worth the extra drive to visit.
Gem! This was worth the extra drive to visit. Honestly it was my favorite part of Iceland. Rugged beauty without the long line of tourist buses to contend with. Stokksnes Beach is a hidden gem at sunrise!

The Berjaya in Höfn is in a wonderful position with the harbour on one side and a view out across the water to the glaciers and the west on the other. It is also easy walking distance to all the local bars and restaurants.

Hofn is a lovely town in SE Iceland.
Hofn is a lovely town in SE Iceland. It has numerous, easy walking paths thru town and around their waterfront including a golf course with views that I think rival those of the finest courses in the world. Not a golfer, but if I were, this is a place I would want to play. It was spectacular. The views of the glacier were outstanding. There were several good restaurants, lobster is a local specialty. There are nature and art trails along the waterfront and a number of good historical exhibits. Wished we could have spent more time here. It felt like a vibrant, fully functioning community that I would have liked to explore more.
Its in good location, right next to the petrol station and tiny shop. Bathroom was nice. Room was clean and had a kettle with some tea/coffee/sugar. It was one of the cheapest places we found in entire Iceland, and Hofn is well known for being super expensive, so its decent for Icelandic prices. Normally I would rate this place lower but it is a budget-friendly accommodation so you can't expect 5* treatment. If you want just a place to stay for a night and leave straight away, I think you'll be happy
Good location on the outskirts of Hofn assuming you have a car and easy to find along to main road into town. Good private parking in front of the hotel. The room was quite large and spacious and so was the bathroom. Bed and bedding were very comfortable. Breakfast was basic continental but was good and staff were very helpful if items ran out. There is one of the automated coffee machines which are quite common in Iceland.
The room was big, clean and good. The included breakfast was excellent. The guest house was also convenient for driving into Hofn The host was very accommodating and gave us a fantastic list of recommendations when we set off the following day. Also gave a great insight into Icelandic culture that people don’t lock their cars or houses. Learning about Iceland from a local is very fantastic. Thank you
We booked the hotel for 1 night as we were exploring the south coast of Iceland. Also, it's very near Stokksnes Beach and Hofn. The room was comfortable. It's simple, yet you have everything you need for short stays and it is warm. The view around the hotel is also great, although we didn't get to enjoy the area as we were in a hurry for our ice cave tour. Overall, it was a pleasant stay.
The farm stay was unique among our six different accommodations whilst traveling around Iceland. It is just outside the town of Hofn. The host was wonderful, providing helpful information about the immediate area as well as the next leg of our journey. Breakfast was good. The room was comfortable and clean. Having to go down the hall to a bathroom was a bit unusual, but not a problem really.
If you've never been to Iceland, get used to sharing showers, bathrooms, and kitchen with all the other guests. They're really nice bathrooms and kitchen, but you might not be used to it. But it makes for great interactions with staff and fellow travelers.
If you're an extrovert, this stay is perfect for you. Introverts might have less fun here.
The hotel is well located in a calm next to nature area and very easy to reach. It is a perfect stop in the Höfn region if you are travelling through Iceland. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was very good and the staff amazing, the reception person was very nice and even waited for us at night as we were delayed.
Location was ideal for our family vacation in Iceland. Breakfast was a great spread and they kept refilling no matter how many people were there. Lots of choices for breakfast. Room was one of the larger rooms we stayed in on our Iceland vacation great size for a family of four. Room was clean bathroom good size easy to use showers.
The Hotel Höfn is well located: 1) near the coast, 2) next to a gas station, 3) near a supermarket &c.
Also the 'public' rooms of the hotel (e. g. bar, flor, reception, resteraunt) are pretty and modern.
The employees were friendly and helpful.
The breakfast was delicious and versatile.
One of the best cottages I’ve been to in Iceland.
The place was tidy and cozy.
The staff were friendly and the food was to die for! Poka is an amazing host and cook 👩🍳
if you are going to visit Vestrahorn, Stokkness and Höfn this is your place ! ☺️☺️☺️
Everything we encountered in your town met our best expectations. The only little disappointment was the lack of choices for breakfast. We would definitely recommend your facility to others we know that might travel to Iceland.
This was our favorite stay in Iceland. You can’t beat the scenery. The staff was very nice, the room was modern and nice, and the breakfast at the cafe was a great way to start your day. We loved our stay at the Viking cafe.
Excellent location if you are on your way in South Iceland; right at the Road Nr 1 and 20 min drive from Hofn. The rooms are nice, modern with big windows overlooking the Glacier; excellent breakfast and friendly staff
Everything was perfect! Absolutely beautiful views, super comfortable room and the host was so friendly. We loved meeting the dogs too! It was such a special place and one of my favorite accommodations in Iceland.
Interesting experience staying on a sheep farm; very helpful staff; good meal at the restaurant; limited menu, but reasonably priced and tasty; great views of the countryside; reasonably priced stay for Iceland.
clean and modern. The bed was very comfortable and had the best sleep on my entire Iceland trip. The breakfast spread was also very good! Not a ton of variety but it provided the necessities.
