The hotel staff were friendly and made you feel at home. Loved our room very clean and had great view of the harbour. Would definitely return!

Courtyard by Marriott Nanaimo ligger i Nanaimo, en kort bit från Nanaimo Museum, och har en gemensam lounge, bar och utsikt över staden. Our room wasn't ready when we arrived, and staff seemed very concerned that we'd be angry - the place is relatively new and there were a couple of other guests who were engaged in quite aggressive conversations with other staff at the time. Seems like there are some issues that need ironing out. However I have no complaints, we were given a beer each, went to park the car across the street, and by the time I returned the room was ready. Room was perfect, bed was huge, swimming pool was a welcome addition. It was only a layover but would have happily spent another night. I think the staff member who helped us might have been called Vern or something similar. He was a really nice guy.

Campbell Cottage B&B is located in the Old City Quarter of Nanaimo. Free WiFi access is available. Breakfast was outstanding! I enjoyed a lot. The owner was very friendly. The bed in the room was excellent. Welcome chocolates and candies were very lovely. The bathroom for the guest was probably recently rennovated and it was very clean. I was told to use another room for study other than a bedroom, which helped me to work.

The renovations were very nice, a lot of thought went into little extras that lost hotels don’t have, little extra touches. The pillows were amazing, and they had lots - whic is rare in hotels, the beds were clean and comfortable , I got a great sleep - which I never usually do!! There was a portable air conditioner in the bedroom and two fans in the main area that kept it cool. Semi private little decks outside with a chair and little box of flowers, a little elegant metal vanity in the bathroom with soaps and shampoos set on with a facecloth fanned out behind them, extra large towels on the clothes rack outside the bathroom (what hotel ever provides extra towels) it had a huge shower head so the shower was fantastic! This was way nicer than many 5 star hotels. So clean and refreshing. We were on foot, and it is located in walking distance to restaurants and amenities. Overall 5 star rating from me, I highly recommend this place and I will definitely be back!!!
