Absolutely gorgeous apartment in the heart of Cēsis. Modern & laconic at the same time. Property has very comfortable beds, neat wooden floors and everything you needed for a comfortable stay. The view is gorgeous. Apartment is nicely chill at the summer time. Beds where ready and the little one absolutely enjoyed little books that where left at her room.

It’s our second stay at Glūdas Grava, out of many others elsewhere in Cēsis. This time, after considering alternative options, we deliberately decided to return here for a number of reasons. 1. The place is exceptionally clean, tidy and comfortable. Stylish and modern room which at the same time does not feel sterile, and offers all the necessary facilities in running order. You can have your breakfast outside at the small table in front of each suite, or at the common picnic place in the territory. 2. The location and the environment are unique: while being situated within 10 min walk distance from the city centre, you enjoy the total calmness of a quiet residential district, with no traffic and other signs of busy life, where you can go to sleep and wake up with open windows, breathing fresh air and listening only to birds. And the closest supermarket with everything you need is just 300 m away. 3. In the same area there is a picturesque valley with a splendid view, crossed by the winding path that leads to the central castle park (one of the main attractions of the city), offering an excellent walking route not often chosen by tourists. 4. The last but not the least – always friendly and welcoming hosts. Negotiable check-in/check-out hours and other options (tip: you can choose between a single or a twin blanket – specify your preference on booking!). Bottom line: next time we might not even spend time considering other options, and just return here again and again :)
