Situated in Kópavogur within 1.1 km of Lake Ellidavatn, Icelandic Apartments by Heimaleiga provides accommodation with free WiFi, seating area and a kitchen. Really enjoyed the location: main road in all directions, bakery (delicious sandwiches!) and supermarket almost next to it, plenty of parking spaces in front. Check in works with a code, so no problem if you arrive late at night. The apartment is modern and spacious, the view from the balcony mesmerizing. In my opinion very good value for the money (compared to accommodation prices in Iceland in general). And the owner constantly checks on you via Chat if everything is going alright :-)

Very clean space with a great location in the city. Lots of restaurants, bars & shops within walking distance. A lot of the tours & day trips (if not all) offer collection from Bus Stop 6 (including the airport transfer buses) which is not even 2 minutes walk from the apartment. Would 100% stay here again!
