The hosts were kind enough to allow us to use their washing machine albeit with a 2000isk charge per load

IMO, this got the highest value for money, compared to all the places I have been to in Iceland. You got everything, spacious room, comfy bed, washing machine with dryer. All the kitchen utensils, equipment. Quiet place, nice and very clean room, parking right in front. Haven't actually met the host, but she always replied quickly. So I have no problem here.

Situated in Höfn in the South Iceland region, Miðsker 1 has a patio and lake views. The property features garden views. The apartment also features free WiFi, free private parking and facilities for disabled guests. Amazing little spot! Loved everything about our stay here.
