Located in Wellington, near Wellington Botanical Gardens and Beehive Parliament Building, the historic Thorndon Heritage Listed Villa features a garden.

Host greeted us on arrival and was able to recommend a restaurant for dinner that was within walking distance. Lodging was in a beautifully decorated, thoroughly modern, older home. There is a sitting room/den separate from the bedroom. Lodging was on a private second level of the house.

The family are very welcoming and friendly. They made me feel really comfortable. It was very peaceful, private and quiet. The kitchen has everything you need, with an amazing rice cooker and air fryer. The bed super comfortable with a little desk and wardrobe included. The sheets were freshly washed and I fell asleep like a baby. The bathroom was very clean and I had a nice warm shower. Thank you for an amazing stay. I really enjoyed my time in Wellington.

It was the perfect place and we would have happily stayed longer. Free parking, public transport easily accessible, lovely suburb with lots of amenities, close to the hills/mountain bike park, quiet. The accommodation was very well equipped and had air-conditioning. Attentive hosts, too.

The stay was very nice. The room and bathroom are very new and super clean. June is a really nice and helpful person and you can have a good conversation with her. The cat Bo and dog Milow are very cute. I can highly, highly recommend the accommodation.

This special little spot really is Wellington's best kept secret! A lovely private little getaway with the beauty of nature surrounding you, but still so close to town, train station etc. My Partner and I loved ❤️ highly recommend

B and B on Hay Street by the Sea is ideally located in Central Wellington, minutes away from the sandy Oriental Bay Beach. It offers accommodation with a courtyard, an upstairs balcony and garden.

Location was great. Good breakfast. Nice facilities. Best of all are the exceptional hosts.

Set in Wellington, 2 km from Freyberg Beach and 700 metres from National War Memorial, BnB at Bidwill offers garden views and free WiFi.

The hosts were exceptional in helping me, picking up at train station and drop off at ferry terminal. They gave me good advice with activities and even lent me a transportation card! It was easy to walk to/from the property to Te Papa and other places too. I would surely stay there again!!

    I like my room and all amenities provide by them and it was quite comfortable stay for me.They are very friendly people.
