Even leaving on an icy morning was made easier, as Madeline helped clear the car and pointed out the best route (she was totally right, of course!)

Lynster House provides rooms in Milltown, a 3-minute drive from Monaghan. The property is situated 10 km from Castle Leslie. Both private parking and free WiFi are accessible at this property. The breakfasts were wonderful! The host tweaked recipes, and the food that she prepared was pleasing to the eye as well as delicious. It was also very plentiful! Indoors or out, you will be surrounded by beauty at this B & B! The host was very helpful. If this is the first place you stay at on your vacation, you might be tempted to use it as the standard to compare the rest!

Offering a garden and garden view, Grove Lodge B&B is situated in Monaghan, 12 km from Wildlife & Heritage Centre and 300 metres from St Macartan's Cathedral, Monaghan. The owners were very welcoming the room was comfortable and spotless .Breakfast was lovely will definitely stay again .

Comfortable, good facilities very good breakfast, parking out front, quiet location convenient to Monaghan town. Would stay again.

The 4-star Killyliss Country House B&B is surrounded by countryside and lakes. It is less than 20 minutes' drive from both Cavan and Monaghan and it offers free Wi-Fi and free parking. My host Pauline was so lovely and welcoming. You feel at ease as soon as you open the door. Pauline was very helpful providing local restaurants for the evening and directions for my onwards travel the following day. There is a few towns around the area so you can easily find places to eat or activities. The B&B itself is the perfect relaxing escape. It's very quiet, but surrounded by beautiful scenery. Perfect place to relax and unwind. The bed was extremely comfortable and the room was great. There's a tv and books on Ireland for entertainment. Easy to find and well sign posted.

The lady and her daughter are very friendly. I felt welcome. It was my first day in Castleblayney and I was blown away by the hospitality. It is a nice place to stay in and beautiful environment. The room is clean and the bed were well laid. The breakfast is top notch. Hope to visit again.

Breakfast was outstanding with lots of variety. Theresa was very accommodating and picked us up by car and shuttled us back and forth to Monaghan where we had scheduled a plant visit at CombiLift. We had a delightful time with her and the owner of the home where she is running the B&B. The view from our window overlooked the lake and we were overwhelmed by the beautiful landscape. We would highly recommend staying at this location if someone is looking for a unique experience. Nothing like Irish hospitality.
