The room was really clean (best tidiness and cleaning we had in New Zealand) and had everything we needed. A 5-minute drive away is the Tonui Lucid Cafe, which we recommend for breakfast; the view is beautiful and the food delicious. We arrived around 5 p.m. at the accommodation, had a wonderful chat with the hosts, and left our luggage there. We still made it to the grand dunes to surf a little in the sand. Afterwards, there was still time to check out Cape Reingas lighthouse in a marvellous sunset. After a good night's sleep, we went to eat breakfast at the Lucid Cafe, checked out the Gumdiggers Forest, and continued to the Maitai Beach (we absolutely recommend this beach!). So, the place has a perfect location.

Located in One Tree Point in the Northland region, Roy and Anns Haven provides accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking. Everything was perfect, especially the fresh breakfast. Modern, very comfortable, spotless clean and perfectly equipped (Nespresso, laundry, BBQ …) Thanks to Ann it feels like a home away. :-)

Taipa Views Bed & Breakfast is located in Taipa at Doubtless Bay Northland. It is close to Cable Bay and Mangonui. When we arrived,We received a lovely, friendly welcome from Janice & Kevin,great to meet them. The room we had,was absolutely spotless, very nicely decorated & lovely to stay in.a very comfy bed & a superb bathroom with a fantastic shower. We made use of the BBQ to prepare our evening meal, & managed to see a fantastic sunset. There were plenty of choices for breakfast & Janice gave us lots of information regarding things to do while we were heading north.a great location if your travelling up to cape Reianga & back. A fantastic host.

Waimoana Garden Accommodation has well-equipped accommodation featuring free WiFi and located 3 km from the town centre of Whangarei. The pet-friendly property features a terrace. A lovely welcome and introduction by the owner Sue and her beautiful fur babies. Loved the gardens and the hospitality. Breakfast was above and beyond lovely. The Bed was comfortable and snuggly with lots of pillows. Overall, would definately highly recommend and will not hesitate to return to the clean beautiful open house feels. Thank you Sue.
