So much peaceful beautiful nature here and such amazingly kind people that | feel right at home. I've already met so many local friends and even a super funny Australian @ryrainforest that I'm just gonna have to keep the adventure goin!™= :=

Obviously, anyone who stays here or even looks at it from inside will give it five stars. If possible, more stars can be given! It is luxury where not much can be expected. When you first reach Dal lake and you get into your designated shikara which is supposed to take you to your houseboat, and then your shikara uploads you into this Aziz Palace group of Houseboats, we didn't foresee the level of its luxury. It's the epitome of luxuriousness. The most friendly and five-star houseboat trained staff, the aesthetically beautiful & elegant decor, the spacious and comfy rooms, the long attached bathrooms which are totally out of this world, the utterly delightful terrace and restaurant on the terrace, the food. The food is literally mouthwatering, every morsel is yumm delicious. I can go on and on. Rooms: 5/5 | Service: 5/5 | Location: 5/5

I had a wonderful stay at Tashkand houseboat during winter season in January 2023. Musa, the houseboat owner, is very helpful and provide very good service. Dinner at Tashkand was our best dining in Kashmir as it's fresh meat, homemade, and no MSG. If you stay here I recommend trying 1 dining at his place. The place is clean and tidy. There's towels and amenities provided. There s no heater in the bedroom but it's replaced with warmed electric blanket which works very well to keep you warm at night, especially in winter. There are free shikara ride across to main road if you paid for shikara ride trip the first or second day. It's a special deal that the houseboat made with shikara riders so you will get the best deal and save money if you get shikara trip. It was the memorable, affordable house boat price.
