The accommodation you provided and the unparalleled view of the ocean were beyond everything. Our room was wonderful, like a dream world; the closeness of nature and the view of the sky was amazing. The special atmosphere of the accommodation, as well as the comfortable and carefully designed equipment, all contributed to the fact that we could spend calm and relaxing days here. We really appreciated the warmth and attention with which they welcomed us and all the useful information they gave us about the island and the attractions in the area. The breakfasts were always tasty and plentiful, giving us a great start to each day. I am sure we will be back and recommend this fabulous place to others.

Calheta Glamping Pods - Nature Retreat er gististaður með garði í Calheta, 27 km frá Girao-höfði, 28 km frá Porto Moniz-náttúrusundlaugunum og 35 km frá Marina do Funchal. Everything. It’s such a chilled vibe. The views are unreal. The staff are really helpful and assist with anything you need. Definitely book transport as the hill is a beast to access it. You’ll need transport anyway as there is so much to see on the Island.

Dioclecio was a very friendly and helpful host and his responses when we messaged him were instant.. Everything was really clean and we had everything we needed. A very beautiful place to stay. We would highly recommend it.

It felt like a real escape. Lovely location, beautiful park and surroundings. The hut was perfect. Spotlessly clean and well equipped. We received a lovely welcome from Dioclecio, who was really friendly and great at communicating. If we visit Madeira again, we will definitely stay here :) Highly recommend. Thank you!

Gististaðurinn er með aðgang að verönd og ókeypis einkabílastæði.... The location, the accomodation, nature.. everything was amazing. The house is well equipped, the views are stunning, and there is quiet and calmness all around.

Mountain Eco Shelter 4 er staðsett í Funchal, 14 km frá Marina do Funchal og 25 km frá Girao-höfða. Boðið er upp á fjallaútsýni og ókeypis reiðhjól. Lovely cabin surrounded by mountain views, we saw so many stars at night. There's a great place to eat and drink (O Barracão), just 10 mins walk from the cabin, and it's only 20 minutes drive from Funchal (we had a rental car, but I believe there's a bus stop nearby too). It felt like a little home away from home, bed was very comfortable, shower was excellent and the little kitchenette had a stove top, microwave, kettle, coffee machine and fridge. Our host was wonderful, very welcoming and gave us lots of recommendations. I would definitely stay here again!

Location amongst the trees, great hikes nearby (including the famous Pico to Pico, which starts a short drive away) and a sunset hike on the doorstep, peaceful, friendly meet & greet from host and quick responses to messages, but not hassled. Bedding, towels and shower etc of good quality. Comfortable bed. Heater warmed the cabin up nicely when required.

Breathtaking scenery and amazing shelters! The shelters were very well-equipped and everything was harmonious. Even the cutlery had a bit of wood on it. Besides this, the host, Dioclécio, was super friendly and offered to help at any time. He advised me some trails to do in the Ecological Park, which I did. This was the best accommodation I’ve ever stayed in!
