Cabins were neat and clean, and there was lots for the kids to do.
Had a lovely Chinese birthday dinner at RSL. Great variety and service.
Lunched at couple coffee shops,
Saw Woolies and Aldi, even though we did not need them.
Booked for luncheon cruise to Metung, but had to cancel - VERY sad about that. That is a MUST do while there. Easy walking around when weather is good.

Lakes Entrance is a lovely place to visit.
Lakes Entrance is a lovely place to visit. I prefer out of season myself as I am older and on my own and it is quieter at that time. Great eating at the Central Hotel and the nearby coffee shop. (Bloody Good Coffee). There are lovely beaches and plenty of things for families riding tracks and mini golf. I enjoyed the boat cruises with Peels Cruises. The 70k was wonderful and then the lunch at Metung never disappoints. I think they are good value too. A good supermarket and other small shops. There is also lots to visit around the area and not far from Bairnsdale.
Well worth a visit........ weather is also surprisingly good all year round.

We were using Lakes Entrance as a stopover on our way to Sydney.
Very pleased with the area.
It was easy to walk around and had a good array of eating establishments - we had Fish and Chips from one of the local shops. the flathead was fresh and well cooked and the owners were very polite.
This is the case with most places.
Kudos to the Visitor Information Centre and the lady who served us

Lakes Entrance is a lovely small beach town.
Lakes Entrance is a lovely small beach town. We were glad to see that it hasn’t become built up like other popular coastal areas. There are a few good options for food. The beach is beautiful and the coastline goes on for ages allowing you to have really lovely and Long Beach walks. There are heaps of opportunities for nature walks and a nice winery nearby. Highly recommend for a short trip!

There is heaps to do in nice weather with plenty of eateries and cafes. Beaches are great and theres many points of interest within a short enough drive of the main town such as Buchan Caves and the Metung Hot Springs and the old Stoney Creek Trestle Bridge is worth a look too. Its a very scenic place with walks aplenty and fisherman are spoilt for choice with or without a boat.
Friendly helpful owners, very clean, comfortable beds with plush pillows, big TV, pool and spa baths available, everything any single person to a family wants and needs when away from home with the lowest prices and best view's in all of lakes entrance.
I highly recommend Absolute Lakes Entrance Motel. You can stop looking with all these positives it is the best place to stay in the area.
A bright and cozy house very close to town, in a lovely quiet street. I woke to the sounds of bird song every morning. Tim was a great host and when I accidentally left a personal item at the house, he notified me straight away and made every effort to arrange its return to me. I can highly recommend L' Horizon Rhyme of the Sea.
The location on the outskirts of Lakes Entrance in the bush was magical. Peaceful, pretty and 5 minutes to a supermarket. The kids loved the hot tub, and the spa bath in our room and their electric blankets. The kitchen was well equipped and there was plenty of seating in the living area for a family.
What's not to like? Comfy, quiet, spacious. So nice we almost didn't make it out by 10am! After a hectic wet wet weekend in Melbourne we really appreciated the rest, and to wake up to sunshine in such a glorious place as Lakes Entrance was exactly what we needed! Thank you Central Hotel Motel!
Location was excellent with close proximity to all the shops and the beach front. The house was clean and comfortable with all the facilities. The outdoor area was excellent with the fireplace and the whole family could get together in the same area. Would recommend to any.
The Family room was a great size. The spa was excellent. Beds were comfy. Enjoyed the use of the kitchen and bath tub.
We travelled from Sydney and distance from Merimbula is over 3hrs. Hotel was perfectly located as I didn’t want to drive another 4hrs back to Melbourne.
The property was simple. No frills but comfortable for what we needed. I loved the art work. The chairs are super comfy in the lounge. We want to know where we can get some. The location is the best. Quite clearly the best place to stay if youre visiting Lakes Entrance
It was value for money, the unit had the essentials for a beach holiday. The unit was clean, windows shone. two couches were very comfortable and the table was big enough for our family. The swimming pool was a great bonus for my grand daughter and we swam every day.
Staff was friendly and welcoming. The place is very close to the beach and other amenities. They are pet friendly and there was a pool which the kids loved! Units were a good size and the place is good for a few families or friends holidaying together.
Cabins were clean and were fully ready when we checked in. The location is very convenient to shops, restaurants and aqua park. Great way to explore the wonderful town of Lakes Entrance. Will definitely stay here again in the near future.
The Yellow House is in a great location, walking distance to shops, coffee, and beach. It’s beautifully renovated and we particularly liked the outdoor deck in the back which was perfect for meals and chatting.
Good hotel for the price I've paid for. Standard level of comfort and quality of the facilities, not bad but also not great. It was not expensive so I guess their rates are in line with what they offer.
Nice family run motel. Perfect for our one night stay in Lakes Entrance. Located on the Esplanade, walking distance to main shopping street and the bridge to the surf beach.
Lovely, relaxing, pet friendly BnB with awesome views out of the ocean. Common areas and shared kitchen were very well equipped. huge space in the upstairs loft/family room.
Good location, great size rooms and they upgraded our family from a quadruple room to two connecting rooms. The rooms had everything we needed for our short stay.
