Walking distance to almost everything. Nicola took care of breakfast and always had something yummy and different. We love the beer. The restaurant is good. This was our second stay and we will be back.

Surprisingly great visit - a walkable and bikeable city full of architecture and history, with lovely squares and cafes/restaurants. Definitely visit the brewery Het Anker and the Beguinage (small area within the city full of beautiful old streets and an interesting info as you walk around).

Mechelen is a nice city to explore, many options for children and cosy & good quality food options. Architecture and museums also.
I would love to be back when the weather is warmer. The coffee places and bars are quite inviting for a more outdoorsy day.
Really enjoyed trip.Attractive city..lovely architecture ,brilliant variety of shops. Some attractions shut, not a lot of parks or green areas.Cobbles everywhere, bring comfortable trainers!Brilliant eateries if you drink beer…very limited wine choices. Not a lot of variety of restaurants.Lovely wide streets with attractive water features and trees.Problem understanding menus as no English versions at all!

Unfortunately I visited this city while there was a lot of construction going on and a fun fair was in the centre blocking all the beautiful buildings. I think it would be better to visit earlier or later in the year and check if construction has finished.

We went to a place were there is a lot and different restaurants we had many options of dishes. We eat at Irish restaurant.
Everything. Best BnB I think I've stayed in (well certainly up there anyway).
Quite location (considering it's proximity to the ring road), beautiful garden (the sparrows were entertaining), great little balcony, modern yet cosy room, massive comfortable bed, wonderful food cooked in front of you and finally, the most friendly host. Will definitely come back if in Belgium.
Oh and ignore anyone who says Mechelen is not a nice place. In my opinion it is one of the nicest cities in Belgium we have visited!
The hotel was nicely located in a very central area. It was very good that everything was reachable by foot. There is a supermarket nearby and also some good options for lunch and dinner. The breakfast was just awesome: a large variety and good quality of products. They offered normal, plant-based and gluten-free options. Much better than expected on this matter. A nice element was to have the option of a late check-out at 2 pm. I worked perfectly.
Great location a 10 Minute walk to center of city. Mechelen exceeded our expectations and was a great way to start our trip in Belgium. The hotel is comfortable, next to the brewery and a 1 minute walk to the restaurant. The breakfast was lovely and we also had dinner there too which was excellent. And the beer is some of the best in Belgium. Friendly staff, parking in front of the hotel at a brewery in a city? What are you waiting for?
The location is good, easy 10 minute walk from the Mechelen-Nekkerspoel train station and very close to Saint Rumbold's Cathedral and the Grote Market.
Room was spacious and clean, very comfortable, with a nice sized shower.
The breakfast was good, what you would expect from a Holiday Inn Express. Natasha, who checked us in was delightful, efficient and quite helpful.
The hotel is within walking distance from the train station and the city center. It is clean and modern. We got a room straight away even though we arrived way before the actual check-in time. The staff was super friendly. Our room was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. The bed and pillows were comfortable. The breakfast was pretty good as well.
Stay at Elisabeth was the best choice for staying in Malines for 2 days. The city is pretty and clean, the hotel is well located close to the center, it's new, the staff is kind and ready to explain everything you need. The swimming pool is amazing, a cool place to relax. I will stay there again for sure or suggest it to my friends.
The staff was very helpful (and kind) and came to action when we had a problem with the acoustic of the bedroom - we got immediately a new room and they even gave us the possibility to choose among 2 or 3 options (of course we were lucky that there were bedrooms available). Location of the hotel is perfect!
Genuine & friendly environment. The owners are devoted to their hotel guests. Cheerful and welcoming too. Their restaurant evening meal was pleasantly presented, homemade and delicious. Also the hotel is convenient located to the railway station, taxi and city center. A really good experience all round.
Rooms are very comfortable especially the air conditioning which was very welcome. Breakfast was good and included in the price also parking onsite. Staff very helpful and of course your staying in one of the best brewerys in Belgium so the beer is excellent.
Amazing stay! Very clean and modern place with comfy area for relax. I love the place and the city. The hotel is located near the best places to see, very close to Antwerp and Brussels too.
I am very happy with the stay and I will visit again.
Hotel in a former church. The rooms in the church itself are worth the extra price above the annex if you like to wake up looking at stained glass (in our case, of an angel). Very atmospheric stay, well-sized and super comfortable bed!
The hotel was situated close to the centre of the town, which made for easy access to most sights. The room was comfortable and clean. Breakfast was good with a variety of different food to choose from.
A beautiful house, super rooms a delicious breakfast and an even better host.
5 star hotels 4are nothing compared to this place!
A wonderful stay with a wonderful person.
A liitle gem
Location was good and reception staff excellent. Parking directly beneath the hotel was a bonus as we needed secure parking for my Harley- Davidson motorcycle.
