The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, particularly Virginie. Our room , which was built into the limestone cliff, was very spacious and clean, in addition to being very interesting. The gastronomic restaurant served excellent food at reasonable prices. Maxim, our sommelier, was very knowledgeable and helpful.

Novel accommodation at the edge of the Loire. The room was very attractive and furnishings suited the environment, the shower was good and the outside terrace was very pleasant. The bed was extremely comfy with good quality bedding.
The hosts were very welcoming and were very keen to please, giving us lots of local tips and information to fully make the most of this interesting area.
We had a very pleasant stay and, in a daytime temperature of 34 degrees the cave was beautifully refreshing.

Beautiful walks along the Loire, fantastic hosts, birdlife and troglodyte accommodation at Loire Sauvage, great little restaurants, pâtisseries, food store and souvenir shop, and the troglodyte housing around Rochecorbon is fascinating.
The location was wonderful, perfectly place to explore the Loire Valley, Vouvray wine caves within a few minutes drive, a wonderful boulangerie within a 10 minute walk, and tons of charm and character in the town. The Troglodyte homes themselves were so much fun to stay in, we loved how much history our hosts took the time to share and thier experience of living there. The gardens were lovely! And that view from the second story house! We even loved waking up one morning to experience being fogged in!
Situated in a restored mill from the 10th century, this has proven to be a perfect location to explore the region around Tours and the Loire valley. The house is big enough for a family of 4 and all the necessary facilities were there. Hygiene is excellent. In term of surroundings, there is a bakery and a small supermarket just around the corner. Moreover, you can walk alongside the river Loire into Tours (+/- 1 hour) and in the village (Rochecorbon) is a flea market on Sundays.
The hosts have lots of taste and have created a beautiful, cosy and large accommodation full of character. Breakfast was served on the terrasse and was very good. Our hosts were extremely friendly and took the time to have a long chat with us. The chambre d'hôtes is walking distance from the village and a fantastic restaurant La table de Joseph.
Rochecorbon is a wonderful discovery for us and we would like to go back and stay again at the Troglodytes.
The location was good. Local shops near by, convenient for visiting by car places like Chateau Chenonceau, Amboise, Villandry, and Tours. Rochecorbon is an interesting place in its own right, with signed Village works, The location is near the river Loire. Went on a Cave Wine Tour, that was 10 minutes walk from the property.
Comfortable Bed and sofa.

Les Hautes Roches is a beautiful property, with a wonderful view on the Loire and a unique setting, built into the rock that is typical in the area. The rooms are comfortable and nicely decorated. The staff is friendly and very willing to solve problems when they come up. The pool area is small but nice and you can order drinks to be brought to you there.
A fantastic experience in staying in a troglodyte room, the views out onto the Loire were also a delight. Marc Bredif is also next door so provides the perfect opportunity for a tour and wine tasting before walking back to our room. We ate at the hotel one evening and the food was excellent, as was the continental breakfast in the morning.
Beautiful hotel and an amazing balcony room. Just incredible Art Decor layout, with lovely lighting. The hostess and other hosts were exceptional and very friendly and helpful. It was a great experience stay at this hotel and I would highly recommend to anyone.
Very nicely located minutes away from the city of Tours, this charming little hotel faces the river the Loire. It is ideally situated to initiate a tour of the Loire valley castles. The staff was charming and it really felt like we were owning the castle.
Host is very friendly and warm heart. Staying in the cave was fun. The shower always had hot water. The breakfast was simple but good quality. Park for free on the street. Had dinner at Josephs Table resto just around the corner. Food was nice.
Nothing very expensive breakfast was not included as per booking.com said it was this needs addressing, no restaurant in the hotel couldn’t get food nearby
I can go on and on but I couldn’t be bothered
Lovely villa, well stocked in an excellent location to explore Tours and the vinyards and chateaux of the Loire Valley. Close to two boulangeries in the attractive and quiet village of Rochecorbon.
As we were travelling we didn't have breakfast. It was a hot day and the air conditioning was a bonus as our chambre was cool. A well recommended Chambre d'hotel.
