The location was perfect and check in was quick and easy, we were able to get in early which was very helpful! The tea, coffee and biscuits were a really nice touch.

Although dealing with the aftermath of a severe flood the staff were fantastic and I was lucky enough to be upgraded to a double room...everything exceeded my expectations.

Cleanliness and freshness of caravan, very well equipped and beautifully decorated, bed very comfortable, got decent sleep before attending wedding, lovely busy bee theme, overall this caravan has 10/10. Helpful and friendly host.
Knaresborough is a lovely picturesque place. Small enough to walk around and big enough for keeping your interest. The town including castle associated museum, river and gardens were delightful, plenty of hostelries and cafes for food and drink for varying tastes and shops enough for any retail interests.
If that wasn't enough for you, Harrogate is just " down the road" which we didn't visit on our two night stay, being just enough for the delights of this slightly "behind present times" and overall quaint feel of the place.
Would thoroughly endorse it for a nice break although I have to say the sunshine did help the mood.

Knaresborough is a beautiful historic town.
Knaresborough is a beautiful historic town. The castle ruins are well worth a visit, and entrance to the grounds is free. The gorge through which the River Nidd flows is breathtaking, and there is an attractive path alongside it. Boating is a popular pastime. The town is well supplied with coffee shops and pubs, with some restaurants as well. The market place is good for sitting down and watching the world go by on a pleasant day, and there are references to two characters from the town's history, Old Mother Shipton and Blind Jack.

We loved our weekend in Knaresborough at the Christmas...
We loved our weekend in Knaresborough at the Christmas market and I would certainly recommend anyone to visit. There are plenty of places to eat and drink and lots of privately owned shops which is a bonus these days. A walk along the river is a must with a cafe to pop in for a hot chocolate when it’s chilly!

The Blue Bell exceeded our expectations! Check-in was smooth and the staff were really helpful and friendly. Our room was exceptional - it had everything we needed with a large comfy bed, separate seating area and beautiful large bathroom. We also had an evening meal in the restaurant area which was superb! The breakfast the following morning was delicious, with a lot of choice and excellent coffee.
We would definitely recommend the Blue Bell and look forward to staying there again.
The staff at the Mitre Inn were exceptional. We arrived very late due to the breakdown of my motorcycle but the Manager had stayed late to welcome us and went out of her way to make us feel welcome. The next morning, at breakfast we were offered a takeaway lunch for our onward travel and the whole staff team, were supportive, kind and keen to help. I would say that the staff at the Mitre Inn provided the best customer service I have ever experienced at a hotel - 5 stars!!
This is a small hotel with a big character. We found Denise and Jackie so pleasant and helpful, and they made us very welcome. Breakfast was delicious, and we were able to order via text. The bedroom was huge, very clean, and tastefully furnished (very good quality soft furnishings and bedding) with eclectic pieces that fit in with the period of the house. The communication was excellent. If we go back to Knaresborough we would definitely stay again.
Clean and comfortable.
We went to this lovely town as I found out recently I was the great great great …. Granddaughter of Blind Jack of Knaresborough. Could not believe it when we were shown to our hotel room it was named Blind Jack - each room was named after a famous person from the town ! There was a picture of the statue to him in our room - really made my stay more special xx
Proper bijou and cosy accommodation. Seriously clean and very central to the town centre.
I parked directly outside, but I had a motorbike!
Toaster gave up the ghost while we were there, and the host dropped a new one off within the hour!
There's a good pub or two in town, not to mention loads of cafes and restaurants.
Parking literally everywhere within 100 metres
Great base if you want to explore the area, and the site itself is very clean with decent facilities, and some great walks you can do in the area. Dog friendly which was a must for us. Unfortunately the on site pub weren't serving food so we just ordered a takeaway which was delivered to reception to collect. The caravan was an excellent price and would highly recommend.
Lovely caravan, very clean with everything you’d need for a short break. Good location, beautiful riverside walk into Knaresborough. Fab, reasonably priced cafe and dog friendly pub on site. We were allowed to take a small dog and there’s parking for one car is directly outside the caravan. Small outdoor seating area. Staff on site were very helpful.
The property was located centrally in town, and close to the rail and bus station.
Having a good sized lounge area made a difference in living space for my longer stay.
The apartment also had a great waterfall shower and basic, but sufficient kitchen facilities.
Milk, Bread and butter provided when I arrived was also appreciated
We stayed here for 2 nights on our way to Scotland. Just a very average Pub! Our room was adequate and clean. We had a meal the first night which was okay, breakfast was served in the adjoining 5 star hotel. It was good but my goodness I would have been disappointed if we had paid 5star prices!
The room was modern and comfortable. The food at the bar was good and the staff super friendly. Little snafu with the booking as booking.com did not relay in message to hotel (so no fault of hotel) in regards to twin beds needed but we were able to take care of that at the hotel.
The hotel is beautifully decorated in a perfect position in Knaresborough. Rooms were imaculate and very comfortable. Staff were very nice, breakfast was buffet and beautiful. Plenty of parking
