The hotel is on the sea front , we were in room 6 facing out to sea with a large bay window, looking out over Eric Morecambe statue . The rooms are large and clean and have delightful character , and smart tvs . The staff are courteous and friendly, and very attentive . The food is 5 star very highly recommended, , and the restaurant is delightful and not too big , with large windows, also looking out to sea and along the very large promanade clean and welcoming . I would definitely book again . And would highly recommend. thankyou Roy and family .

We were only stopping over at Morecambe to facilitate a rental car return the following day.
It was a great place to stop for 12 hours. I don't know if we would have stopped longer by choice if we had the option but it seemed a great place for families with kids.
There is a nice walk along the beachfront and a statue of Eric Morecambe.
There are lots of pubs and restaurants to choose from as well.

The walk along the sea front was very interesting if you read the plaques and information boards. Don’t forget the stone jetty.
Take your picture through the picture frame looking across the bay or even with Eric Morecambe. There is even an artwork trail to follow including a cutout of the lakes which you can see across the bay
Plenty of cafes to call for a pit stop

Morecambe is very quiet at Easter and more suited to older people at this time of year as there is very little to do. However, it's perfect for dog owners. Most of the hotels and pubs allow dogs. The best thing of all was a gigantic ice cream purchased from a combined gift shop opposite the statue of Eric Morecambe. The promenade and stone pier, as well as the playgrounds are easily accessible and there are car parks on the sea front.
For TV sport and American style dining, The Station (opposite the Midland) is hard to beat.

Morecambe has a good selection of restaurants and the oldest pub in Lancashire with a very nice atmosphere, a selection of little independent shops you don't find in any town, we very much enjoyed our visit and would like to go back again

I Love Morecambe.
I Love Morecambe. There is a good community feel about Morecambe. i have wonderful Tai reasonably priced massages when I am there. There are street plantings and lots of seating. Good charity shops. Very good eating places. Lots of inspiring street art. The Morecambe bay views and sunsets are fantastic and the northern lights can be viewed from there. We ate plant based food at the Midland Hotel which was reasonably priced. It is easy to get around. the buses are regular and you can get rides in pony traps. I would never go to The Clifton hotel again but it was cheap.

Great shops and a lovely prom. when the weather is nice!
Close enough to Lake District and Blackpool to use as a base.
Nice view, quiet location, very clean and comfortable room. The food served in the hotel restaurant was excellent. The self check in/out is very convenient and any questions I had were quickly answered online ( via Booking.com ). We were in Morecambe for an evening event and had brought a dog with us ( I have a camera so that I can see he’s behaving via my phone ) so needed somewhere that could accommodate him. We left him in the room whilst we ate, but there are tables outside that I guess he could have sat with us at.
A really lovely stay. Booked a few days at The Shipping Lanes, in the Trafalgar room. Your own private balcony, overlooking Morecambe bay. Trudi and Alan are incredibly welcoming hosts, friendly and full of useful information about the area.
The family of Great Tits living in the roof would sing me awake, and come fly down to keep me company.
The hotel has a homey feel, with a lot of love and care spent on the decor.
The breakfast is absolutely amazing. Brilliant. Superb.
Highly recommended.
Fabulous breakfast was included in our price.
Service was just as expected and the 30s ArtDeco style was carried through the hotel.
The view over Morecambe Bay from our room with balcony was brilliant, particulary sunsets (we had good weather though!)
The bathroom was a triumph of design - it took us a short while to find the toilet hidden behind an ingeniously hinged panel section which then turned into a door.
Lovely toiletries.
Very clean rooms, and excellent, friendly service. Room was comfortable, and the rooms with a view have a spectacular view across Morecambe Bay. As it says in the description, Craigwell is right on the sea-front, and in the middle of Morecambe. Also, good wifi for a B&B or hotel and, last but definitely not least, darn good breakfast, too!
Couldn't fault the staff, the room, the food. Excellent especially for gluten free requirements.
Highly recommend.
Fantastic value for money.
We stayed in Morecambe so we could go to the theatre in Lancaster and have a walk along the prom the next day. Wonderful childhood memories came flooding back.
Would definitely stay here again.
Easy check-in and well-situated hotel with a sea view from our room. I visited with a friend as away football fans; the hotel is only a short walk from Morecambe's stadium.
The walls were thin, but no issue once I put earplugs in.
Cannot fault the service for the excellent price.
Very clean and Modern looking, Right by the seafront, Subway, Burger King and Shops.
The Royal Hotel who runs these rooms is just opposite for food and drinks and entertainment.
These rooms are more modern than the ones in the Hotel.
Great friendly hotel, the lady who we saw first was very helpful and accommodating, Thank you for a lovely stress free stay! Clean rooms and comfortable bed, we will be staying again next time we are over in morecombe.
Beautiful view from extra large windows over Morcombe Bay
from room 2, a suite with comfy lounge. Very good value for money. Parking was next door with cctv. Also for a couple of oldies, a lift was much appreciated.
We enjoyed the stay, the hospitality was spot on, the room was clean, breakfast was lovely.
We would highly recommend this hotel and we would definitely stay again if we visit Morecambe in the future.
The view across the bay was fantastic, breakfast was included, serving staff friendly , convenient location near festival market, reasonably comfortable bed. Worth what I paid
Location was great ..staff were lovely..Overall nice hotel only negatives was noisey neighbor slamming doors all through the nt and a big nasty rip in the net curtains xx
We stayed in pod 2,which there are 3 looking towards the river. The bar staff in the hotel next to the pods were very friendly and helpful. 5 minutes drive into Morecambe.
