The breakfast was lovely, cooked very well and was presented good. The location was great and the carpark was just over the road which is always a bonus. The room were gorgeous with the open beems and layout was good. It was good to see that they could incorporate ways to help the planet without compromising the grade 2 listed building.

Amazing facility with a top-notch staff. We arrived by train, stayed 3 nights and used the bus to travel to other villages. The food was fantastic and our room was wonderful. Liz went above and beyond when we discovered our passports were left behind. She emailed us before we even realized they weren’t with us and then got them mailed overnight to us at our next stop! This was the perfect Cotswolds inn and exceeded our expectations in every way!

The staff were notably friendly and helpful.
Food was first-class albeit over-priced.
Bed was comfortable.
Good 'pub' atmosphere.
The hotel is shocking! Possibly the worst I've ever stayed in and I've camped!
The bar area was probably the best part of the hotel room was very dated and in need of a very good clean the staff basically left us to it no interaction or anythin unless I approached them with an issue

We visited on a Sunday around 7pm and all the pubs had just stopped serving food. We were recommended to go to the Italian restaurant Fratelli. So gladwe went there. Food was excellent and at a reasonable price.

It is a nice pub in a quiet Cotswolds village, east to reach and find. The whole pub was nicely decorated. The room was spacious, quiet, well kept and comfortable. The room had a boutique hotel feel with character and style. The bathroom too was stylish and roomy. Shower excellent. There was a small fridge and a coffee maker in the room and the TV had netflix, all nice extra touches. The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was exceptional. This place is highly recommended. Would want to stay there again when in the area.
Right in the center of Shipston-on-Stour which is charming. Great bar/restaurant which was obviously popular. Best vibe in the town that we saw. Hotel is very old (warped floors, real keys!) but extremely comfortable. bed was awesome and the bathroom was refurbished to modern and very functional. Everything you need w/ the historic feel which was super. We made reservations at the restaurant and it was very good with nice wine selection etc.
Perfect location, right on the very edge of beautiful Shipston on Stour. Flat was lovely with 2 double bedrooms, comfortable lounge and kitchen. Everything you could need was right there and so close but no outside noise you could expect from such a great location. Naomi, the host, was lovely and couldn't have been more helpful. It was a fantastic long weekend and we will definitely stay here again.
Such a great place to stay - the house is gorgeous and so lovely. Loads of space and spotlessly clean. Perfect for family / friends getting together. Loved all the outdoor space too - especially for kids. Lots of places to explore and play in. The trampoline was a huge hit!!
Lucy and Tom are amazing hosts as well!
A fantastic place! Can't wait to hopefully go back again!!
The beds are comfortable!
The space is so well thought out. Everything you need is on site. There's room to roam outdoors for the kids. We really enjoyed the space as a family of five. Close to lots of great places to visit, but also a relaxing, quiet atmosphere.
The hosts clearly know what a traveler needs -- everything is so well planned and executed.
Lovely hotel in a great location. Room was comfortable with a fabulous big bathroom which felt very luxurious. Especially liked the silver tray of crystal glasses of different shapes and sizes to go with the minibar - a lovely touch. Also liked the fact that the room had separate areas so it felt like a small flat.
The hotel has been newly refurbished and the rooms are thoughtfully decorated and very cosy. Staff are friendly and helpful, and there is a lovely atmosphere. Dinner and breakfast in the restaurant were delicious. As a solo traveller it was a perfect place to feel comfortable.
The hotel was clean and a good size room, could do with some curtains because it got light early in the room, breakfast was the best we have ever had, wish we lived closer so we could have breakfast there every weekend. All staff members were helpful and polite
It is an excellent place in a hidden gem of a market town and location nestling in the middle of the upper Cotswolds.
Shipston on Stour is one of those places, small and perfectly formed that is able to meet most of your needs and dreams at the right time.
Everything! Fabulous hotel with lovely rooms, great stuff and excellent facilities. We head lunch and breakfast there, and wished we'd also stayed for dinner. Far better than the overpriced hotels in other cotwolds towns. Bags of character. Well be back.
Bridget is a wonderful host. The location of the B&B is very close to the facilities in town and Shipston on Stour is a great place to stay while exploring The Cotswolds. The room was perfect and breakfast was excellent. We would definitely recommend!
It is a lovely hotel maintaining lots of its original features. The staff and owners were excellent making sure everything was fine for you. The Quiz night was good fun and apparently the have an Aunt Sally shy. The food was. delicious
I stayed in Yurt Yasmin, a wonderfully cosy little yurt on the far edge of the site. It was quiet and peaceful but I could easily drive around to do tourist things- in fact Shipston on Stour was half an hour away by bike.
It was a central location for exploring Shipston on Stour and surrounding area; we only stayed the one night, but enjoyed our stay, along with the cooked breakfast. The room was comfortable and quiet as we had requested
The landlord was friendly and helpful and ensured we had all we needed. location great for Stratford and all the local area such as Shipston on stour, Morten in Marsh etc
Quirky inn with so much character, in a beautiful setting. The people who ran the hotel were so welcoming and lovely. Will defo stay again if we’re in the area!
