The manager and staff remembered me and what I was up to that day and talked to me about it when I came back after that long day. They gave casual recommendations on what could be done in Gili Meno. Breakfast was decently delicious and could be delivered directly to my room. The room was amazingly prepared and created a sunset-ready vibe. I may want to come back again to have dinner in my room as I watch the sunset from the balcony. Perhaps with the sound of the waves at night and the comfiness of the Aircon and bed, I slept so well.

The place is really lovely and the huts are very nice, large and clean. We really liked the swimming pool. Staff are super helpful and kind. They took care of all our needs. If you want to sleep near the beach and the restaurants where you can easily go out in the evening, you may not be very happy with this location in the middle of the island. However we really enjoyed going back home where the locals also have their homes. Gili Meno is special not simply for the snorkelling, but also for its local life. It’s only a few minutes ride by bike, and they have been placing new lights in some streets (although you will still need a torce if you want to see everywhere). So staying here somehow adds to the experience of staying in gili meno.

perfect perfect perfect. close to the harbour, most people stay further away so it was super quiet. I could easily travel to the west for sunset, and sunrise breakfasts were perfect. Sam looked after me and i enjoyed the outdoor shower, hammock on the balcony and chatting with all the locals. super cheap compared to other places as longas you don't mind to walk 10 minutes to anywhere else on thre island

Villa Samalas exceeded our expectations. The location is amazing, the little bungalows are spacious and well equipped, and the location very close to the beach couldn't be better. Moreover, the personal is extremely friendly and we felt that they tried everything to make our stay great. There were two things that I was a bit worried about reading about them in other reviews: breakfast and internet. However, both turned out to be great. Internet was working perfectly well while we were there. Also, we really liked the included breakfast. Yes, you get exactly one juice, one hot beverage, one dish and fruits, but we always felt that it was more than enough and it was delicious.
