Amazing launge area! Has honesty bar but when checking out they asked you if you used sth.
Rooms are big, clean and warm. No grocery store in the village, fyi.

Thank you for this amazing stay ! We got upgraded and the apartment was perfect. Everything was clean and cozy : the little kitchen, the bathroom and the rooms.
We warmly recommend this place, and the location was ideal for those who want to visit the north-east of the island the next day.
If we ever come back to Iceland, we will definitly come here again !

Our one-night stop turned into two due to a heavy storm. The hotel handled the situation very amenably. Good food in the hotel and also at the café and village shop in Breiddalsvik itself, which is about 5 km away. Fantastic scenery all round. Motor museum and brewery in the village with the opportunity to go for horse rides directly from the hotel.

Nothing was too much trouble - he even called the cook to serve us dinner! The food was delicious and breakfast was also good. This hotel was an amazing find in what felt like the back of beyond. A conversion of an old school with lots of interesting pieces of art and antiquities. We enjoyed our stay, thank you. The free coffee bar and honor snack bar with cushy seats by the fireplace are a really nice touch. We also enjoyed the restaurant for dinner and breakfast.
