Lovely place that had all you need, homely and nice hosts, good and generous breakfast, Beautiful and serene setting. We also had the whole place to ourselves when we were there! Also close to several attractions in South Iceland, but the location is almost an attraction in itself.

I would have liked to have more time to get up in the mountains and hike, visit the glacier, and explore Vestmannaeyjar islands. The property was very convenient to explore many attractions, like Skogafoss and Seljalandsfoss, and also not too far for a day trip to Vik.KatieMexico

While at dinner the chef came and told us that the lights were active (unfortunately not for long) and that he would keep our food warm while we went out, we then got a knock on a hotel door approx. 30mins after leaving the restaurant and it was the chef again prompted the lights (PS. we got engaged under them)! We appreciated the attentiveness and going that extra mile to make sure we enjoyed our stay.

We left very early the next morning, but it was easy enough to grab a few items for breakfast (the employee preparing breakfast was very accommodating). Wifi signal was good, beds were comfortable, and the room was a great temp with the window cracked.
