However, it is also perfect for my stay. The room is incredibly spacious. The bed is comfortable, there's even a sofa and table. The shower is also big, with a Jacuzzi. It took me 10min to cycle from Fukuyama train station, normal travelers should consider local transportation. There's a huge Sports Depo and dining outlets within walking distance. The castle is very quiet not comparable to Osaka and more authentic like the Osaka castle. Inside the castle, it is worth it. It is very interactive. You can horse-ride and shoot at targets. Pictures are not allowed inside, but there are several occasions when you can take pictures in the castle. It is a quiet town with nice temples.

Nevertheless, the hotel also functions as a hotel and anyone can stay. The hotel was in very good condition, the room clean and spacious, and on weekdays a simple breakfast is included and there is a simple drink bar on the 1st floor. The price was very competitive with business hotels closer to the Fukuyama station, and the room is roughly twice the business hotel size and much better appointed.StephenJapan
