Location is very nice. Front desk staff was very helpful. The dark sand beach in front is very large place, ideal for morning and sunset walks and other activities. Great breakfast, friendly staff. We liked the traditional style of the hotel and the optional themed dinners during our stay. Parking and pool. Great advantage is the car rental office on the premises.
The main beach street starts from Oasis and has nice views of the Sea of Cortez and the bay.

Based on only 2 days in Loreto, we enjoyed the central plaza with its old church, great dining opportunities - we tried Mi Loreto and Mita Gourmet. Also took a boat tour around Coronado Island - highly recommended. Charming ambience, friendly people.

Small town, very friendly and helpful people.
Small town, very friendly and helpful people. Lots of tour vendors and shops, but no one is pushy. Walked about 20 minutes away from tourist area to a very good restaurant - Domingo's. Worth the walk. Easy to find, felt safe all the way.

After a couple of days there, we looked up crime statistics.
After a couple of days there, we looked up crime statistics. We were pleasantly surprised to find that the average number of crimes committed in the city was almost none! We walked home at night, since everything was within walking distance, stopped and had tacos from vendors on the streets. It was the most peaceful place, we’ve already booked our return trip in July.

Loreto surpassed our expectations.
Loreto surpassed our expectations. The scenery to and into Loreto is breathtaking. The scenery to the San Javier mission is stunning. The 17th century mission and it's history is well worth travelling to see. Loreto was worth the 4.5 hour drive from La Paz, where we are living for six months. We will definitely return to hike the Mesquite Canyon trail and take a trip to isle of Coronado to see the see lions and birds. Not a big snorkeler, but relaxing on the beach will be ok for me. We wanted to extend our visit for an extra day, but we forgot my husband's medication.

My situation might be a little different than most travelers...
My situation might be a little different than most travelers because I drove down from Calif with friends that live in Loreto and who knew the best places to go, so everywhere I went with them was great. Favorite bar and margarita at Vics. Pablano for tacos. All the restaurants around the Mission are very good. Coffee, sodas and water are expensive often as much as the main course. There are many renovations and improvements to the historic Mission district in Loreto on-going. The beach adjacent to the lighthouse is wonderful and the esplanade along the waterfront is very nice to walk. Great airport, very small, but very nice.

If you are not into fishing a long weekend would do.
If you are not into fishing a long weekend would do. It is a small town and can be expensive, but not as expensive as Cabo. We went for six days and it was our first time. There are tours also, but pricey. We walked around town and took the San Javier Mission tour and the Coronado island tour. Had a good time. People in Loreto were very friendly and at no time did we fear for our safety. We will go back again. Gods willing.
The location was great, just a short 10 minute walk to the main plaza. The room was nicely decorated and impeccably clean. The hotel is pet friendly and charges only a minimal fee for pets. The parking was secure. The staff were incredibly nice and helpful. I was having a problem with my car as I arrived in Loreto and they called a mechanic who came to the hotel and inspected and fixed my car right there at a very fair price. Highly recommend staying here.
Rooms matched the photos exactly.
I had the smaller room which was fine, but a weird layout.
My travel partner had the larger room which was nicer and obviously was more spacious.
Wifi was good and fast enough, shower was hot and nice.
The hotel has a garden to sit in with a big bird cage full of budgies. Really nice to look at.
Then neighborhood is quiet and there is a convenience store around the corner.
I’m addition to a well appointed room with kitchenette that was full stocked, the owners are very warm and well informed regarding activities that one can take advantage of in the city of Loreto.
We arrived early and were able to leave our luggage with them while our room was being readied. We highly recommend this boutique hotel centrally located near the historic district, malecon and restaurants/cafes.
Our host was the loveliest lady! She took the time out to show us everything in our room including maps, activities, etc. They have thought of everything at this hotel... the room has everything (definitely more that you need!). They have even put out a candy jar on the rooftop and bottled water for everyone to use. It is also only a short walk into the main square (church) and to a big supermarket.
Great little hotel, right on the beach and a few minutes' walk to Loreto 's town center. The staff was super friendly and very efficient. The restaurant and staff was very good. It was great to be able to have breakfast every morning and enjoy the ocean view. They also had nights with live music and special buffets. The pool was very pleasant. Overall the room and hotel was very clean.
We had a lovely stay at the Bugambilias Suites. We were welcomed there, shown our suite and had everything explained to us. It was wonderful to have a kitchen, and really enjoyed watching the sunrise on the rooftop patio. It was quiet, and easy and safe to walk to the central part of Loreto. We would definitely return and recommend this to others.
The hotel is adorable, clean, and a great location. Vicky was incredibly warm and helpful with everything we needed while we were there. And Orlando’s Restaurant where we got breakfast in the morning as part of our room fee is literally one of the best restaurants in town. Can not recommend staying at Casa Mangos highly enough.
A fantastic little hotel, very close to the plaza and to the Sea. Very clean with comfortable bed, toiletries, a mini fridge and coffee maker in the room. All rooms overlook a small pool. Also a tasty, cooked-to-order breakfast with eggs, ham/bacon/chorizo, toast/ tortillas and fruit instead of just coffee and pastries.
The hotel restaurant was wonderful! We sat on the balcony for our meals and the view is great. The food and service was the best! In addition the pizza at the pool bar was one of the best pizzas we have had.
I have always wanted to stay at Les Flores on my many kayaking trips to Loreto, and was finally able to. It met all my expectations for a beautiful venue, convenient location on the plaza, a delicious food.
The hotel was just on the main square, close to restaurants that were very good, including their own. The staff in both the restaurant & hotel were excellent & the breakfast was good.
The location was on the busiest corner in Loreto. The traffic noise was brutal, all day all night noise. This alone will keep me from staying there again. Several sleepless nights.
Hotel Casa Mangos was beautiful, comfortable and within walking distance of the malecon and el Centro. Liz, the owner, was friendly, accommodating and easy to contact with.
Small, boutique hotel that is comfortable, clean, and conveniently located. Great breakfast each morning included as well as strong internet service. Nice pool area.
All of the staff were very courteous and helpful. And the room was very clean. We especially like that the hotel is conveniently located to the center of town.
