Monterrey is a wonderful city, a bit hot sometimes but worth visiting. It has loads of amenities and places to go, and hosts the best private university in Latin America, Tecnológico de Monterrey. It is worth visiting town centre, Parque Fundidora, and eat "cabrito" in the various restaurants available.

Monterrey is a beautiful city with lots of things to see and do in and around the city. The Macroplaza is the cultural center of the city and there are many restaurants, museums, shops, and locals walking around the area. The Antigua area is across from the Macroplaza and there is the old part of the city with the Monterrey Cathedral and lots of shops and restaurants as well. On Saturday and Sunday the Antigua area has a few very good local flea markets. Also, Monterrey has a great subway system called the Metrorrey and its really easy to use and a very cheap way to get around this great city! I highly recommend Monterrey for any tourists who want to get some great Mexican food and culture that is only a 45 minute flight from Houston and a 3hour bus ride from the border. VIVA MONTERREY!

Monterrey is a very large industrial city with horrible traffic. Pollution is bad, and its not really a nice place to walk around. Yes, it has museums, and soccer stadiums, nice restaurants, like most cities with 6-8 million people, but unless you love crowded places I consider this a place to work, not to visit,

City is growing and there was a lot of complaints about trafic but we did not had any issue with it. The city offered good amenities like Luztopia, shoping, and had the 2 college football semifinals. We did like our stay.

Monterrey has incredible places to do trecking, or activities in nature. It has great restaurants, and nice views. A very local taqueria (24 hours service) is "Las Delicias", you have to try it!!!
A very great hotel, with pool and gym.
My room was very nicely decorated and comfortable. Cleanliness is very important, if you want there is room service every day.
A great advantage was the possibility to do laundry in the hotel's laundromat. Washing and drying cost just 170 pesos.
The breakfast buffet was very rich and you could have additional omlettes prepared.
The dishes a la carte were also very good. From traditional dishes to burgers, everything was there.
In my opinion, the Hyatt is highly recommended.
Location, kind dedicated staff, rooms are very clean! I stayed here last year and I was pleasantly surprised this time that there is now enhanced security while taking the elevators… before that, you could access rooms from parking garage, now you need a guest key to access rooms. I love this hotel, it is amazing, great views of Cerro de la Silla, very comfortable. This is a gem of a hotel in Monterrey downtown, and I would gladly come stay here over and over again when visiting the city.
The hotel is beautiful. Location is central to Monterrey; beds are comfortable, and rooms are nice with amenities were quite happy when we arrived and went to our room. We did have a dinner in the restaurant that was good, but a little overpriced compared to off-site locations. The issue with that is there's nothing you can walk to close by.
Very good option in San Pedro, rooms have kitchen and a small living room. It is quite pricy, especially compared to similar options in central Monterrey, but all San Pedro is very expensive. There is a free parking. I stayed two days, the first day the breakfast was OK, the second morning it was really good. Nothing to really complain about.
I liked the proximity of the hotel to the airport. The breakfast is one of the best I've had at a hotel like this one. Very helpful and pleasant staff. There was an unfortunate loss of electricity at check-in time but after about 30 minutes they came up with a solution that was well appreciated.
The hotel was very nice, quite similar to Hampton in the US. The grounds were lovely, it had all the amenities you could need. Top notch free breakfast, the best I had in a hotel in Mexico. Also, free shuttle to the airport, with a good selection of stores and restaurants beside the hotel.
Everything was perfect!! The hotel is located in a central location, close to everything in Monterrey. The room smelled incredibly good, and in addition, we had housekeeping everyday. A bonus is that the hotel has a well equipped kitchen and laundry, where you can make coffee/tea for free.
best hostel in monterrey, comfy beds, i'm on the top bunk right now and i feel secure and well semi at home with my roomies. location to the metro is absolutely insanely close. you cannot beat that distance. oxxo only a 2 minute walk away. quick 30 minute trips to the airport
it’s so beautiful hotel! Amazing, stunning place, i just wish I could stay more! Views, fireplace in the room, all hotel territory, magical parque of Chipinque, walk paths… One of the best and nicest hotel I’ve been. Place with soul and vibe!
I loved the balcony view and being so close to the mall and restaurants. The room was very spacious and it was a quiet stay. The best of all was Frank! He made the hotel so much better! Thank you for being so awesome and all your suggestions.
My family and I stay here almost every other week. We love it here! staff is super attentive and food is very good! there is valet parking. And the best part it’s Pet Friendly!! it’s really hard to find a good hotel in MTY with pet friendly!
The clean and spacious room. The breakfast served at the hotel was satisfying and met the standards. The staff's politeness and helpfulness contributed positively to my stay, Being near the airport was a significant advantage.
The location is the only positive thing about this hotel. It is very easy to access the parts of Monterrey we were interested in by foot. There were lots of options for dining nearby as well.
