It would be a lovely stay if it wasn't so hot! Spacious and nice for this price. Owners are the sweetest people that will help you with any questions, organize tours if you need. Honestly, it felt like staying with family. It's not a long walk from center and also from the lake viewpoints. It was quiet at night.

This is an exceptionally beautiful place which has been prepared with great care. Rooms feel like an oasis, service is helpful and friendly and the location, with views onto the volcano as well as the crater lake are breath taking. Dinner was served in an open pavilion with full view of the panorama

Casa Marimba is a gorgeous place with a lot of birds. It's a very nice place to stay as a basecamp to visit the surroundings area including Mombacho and Granada as it's a little cooler, and very nice play to go back in the very hot afternoon ! The food is good, the employees are really nice and helpful :-)

We booked initially only one day at Masaya, but we liked it...
We booked initially only one day at Masaya, but we liked it so much that we ended staying in Masaya 3 days/ 3 nights. We went to the volcano, to the Malécon and the markets. The local food was great also. I recommend it if you like a quieter place not far from bigger cities like Managua or Granada. It's close to Catarina where you have nice view point and a lake beach nearby

We were lucky that there was a festival going on.
We were lucky that there was a festival going on. Though cowboys and cowgirls on beautifull horses, showing there skills what the horses with the rider all could do. There were also beautifull carrages, etc. etc. The festival in 2019 was on september 22.

The shower was the perfect temperature and pressure, the wifi was pretty strong too. There's a cute balcony and the bed was comfortable. Maria and her husband were incredibly helpful with arranging fair priced taxis to get me to Volcan Masaya and Laguna Apoyo. It's a 13min walk to the artisan market and a 25min walk to the bus terminal/local market, but there are frequent local busses. I did appreciate the low priced delicious coffee and water.JaclynUnited States
