Elite Hotel Savoy, hotel in Malmö

This hotel is set in a historic building, directly opposite Malmö Central Station and the airport bus stop. It offers free WiFi, sauna access and a popular breakfast buffet.

Good sized room and ensuite with the facilities we had sought - kettle, safe, fridge. Location excellent, facing waterfront, on edge of old town and two minutes from train station. Excellent breakfast with a very wide choice. Bishop's Arms pub was integral to hotel and a useful bolthole for an affordable evening meal, though somewhat limited choice. Staff were very professional.

I really liked my first time in Sweden.

I really liked my first time in Sweden. The people seem very friendly, there is a lot to see, and I was lucky to have amazing weather during the entire trip. Malmö is quite big, so while you can walk everything, it may be more comfortable to get a day pass for the public transport. I walked on average 20 km each day, which may have been less if I had made a concrete plan on which route to go, but I tend to go with the flow - and there's a lot of flow in Malmö. The Disgusting Food Museum was fun, if you're into some out of the ordinary things to do, but there are also plenty of other museums, churches, and things to see in every street. The city is a little bit dirty, but not outrageously so, and it's quite fresh as it is located directly next to the see. The beach is nice too, there's a beach for dogs, and space to swim. I also spent one day in Lund, which is really easy to reach and an extremely nice University town with some great churches and architecture. I thought I could do this in a few hours, but I could have spent the entire day there. I feel like I could come back for another week and still discover more things in both places, so I will definitely be returning.

Malmo is one of the greatest cities I ever visited. Firstly, the surroundings are very nice. The city has a beach, many parks, much of restaurants, museums, activity friendly places. Secondly, everyone is really nice and relaxed and the overall vibe is home-like. I would totally recommend to anyone who wants a short or even long city break.

An interesting city and the 'Cathedral' - St Petri - is a stunning building with what is said to be the largest organ in Scandinavia. Certainly well worth a visit. The various squares with restaurants are cosy and fun. The live music bar (Irish themed) called Fagan's was fun and full of atmosphere. The 'Folk & Rock' bar/live music house in the Lilla Torg square was full of memorabilia and whilst we didn't see the band playing there that night, we went for a coffee after church the following day. We wanted to visit so much more, but sadly we didn't have the time.

A visit to the artificial island of Universitetsholmen near...

A visit to the artificial island of Universitetsholmen near the train station offers the opportunity to get architectural and musical impressions from Malmö Live. A walk through Kungsparken and a jump into the city library „Stadtsbibliothek“ with its bright furnitures and ground floor windows that let in the green colors of the park show a calm sight of the city. The Malmö Konstmuseum offers insights into Swedish art and is a good retreat in its natural surroundings. Helsingborg with its harbour and cultural center including a visit at Olsons skafferi with its Italian athmosphere is a good option for a one-day trip. And an evening in Øresundsparken with view to Øresund bridge is a nice final impression.

This hotel was just lovely. The staff was super accommodating and made our stay very special as we were traveling to celebrate an anniversary. The location is extremely convenient for visiting either Malmo or Copenhagen, and it is nice and quiet yet within walking distance to great restaurants and shops and transit, as well as the local sightseeing locations. The breakfast buffet was also a highlight - extensive and delicious. I would 100% stay here the next time we get a chance to visit Sweden!

The hotel is conveniently located in the city centre, surrounded by all the restaurants, historical buildings, squares and parks. The central station is a 10 minute walk away. The whole property is very well decorated and feels cozy and welcoming. The staff was also really nice.

It’s like a service apartment and I’m surprised that kitchenware is so fully and well equipped. One of the most important thing is it’s pet friendly! The instruction is also very clear and easy to understand. It seems that the neighborhood is newly developed hence not many shops around. It’s a quiet neighborhood. The hotel is close to a parking hence it makes my entire stay very pleasant.

It's my 3rd or 4th stay and the 2nd time I got the room earlier than the check in time. The staff, Maria, is very friendly. Also made sure I got a good sized bed as per my request. It may not be the fanciest place but it is cozy and my go to hotel for my monthly or bi monthly trips to Malmö. Also perfect location.

I love the artwork and the library where you can entertain friends and even make them a drink. The breakfast room in the arches is wonderful as is the breakfast itself.
