Was in a temporary location, there where not tables to seat and after the breakfast they close the room and you did not have access to coffee or water or anything.

Loved the peace and quiet of a riverfront terrace room.
Loved the peace and quiet of a riverfront terrace room. Great location close to stores and restaurants in scenic Frankenmuth. Sadly, the bed was uncomfortable, room could use a good cleaning and a new lampshade. Bathroom was clean. Ice machine was broken. Our fridge was running warm but was replaced quickly. Staff were friendly. Breakfast was okay. Mostly adult clientele made for a peaceful atmosphere for seniors.

We took a Golden Ticket Trolley tour, which was a lot of fun and informative. Zak and Mac's Chocolate Haus really does have the world's best toffee. And Rao's General Store had a great selection of salt water taffy. The history museum was well done.
We ate at the Bavarian Inn, which is an experience in itself, but I have to say the food was hit or miss. They had a great cranberry salad, perhaps the best I have ever had. We also enjoyed the potato-cheese puffs that melt in your mouth, but we were not impressed with the chicken.
Be sure to see the interior of St. Lorenz Lutheran Church.

We have been to Frankenmuth numerous times.
We have been to Frankenmuth numerous times. This time we visited the area with all of the little shops and especially enjoyed the crepe shop, Cherry Republic, and Great Lakes Olive Oil Company. We enjoyed walking the River Walk and visiting St. Lorenz church on a self guided tour. We also shopped at the Cheese Haus.

The concept of Frankenmuth is lovely, lots of quaint shops and Bronners Christmas store. Although the architecture tries to live up to a Bavarian village, the comparison stops there. The town has made itself into a tourist trap with lots of water slides and over priced restaurants claiming to provide traditional German family dining. Instant mashed potatoes, waterry noodles and over cooked vegetables would have never been on the menu at any German family members table in my family. Do yourself a favor and skip dining in Frankenmuth, I think a pizza would have been a wiser investment and enjoyed more.
We did travel in January so we expected snow but the sidewalks were thick with slippery ice. As a tourist town, one would expect that the town keep the walkways safe for pedestrians especially in the main downtown core.

We went looking for a Hallmark Christmas movie setting and found it in Frankenmuth! Easy to navigate by foot if you like walking. Dress warm and wear comfy warm footwear. The tree lighting, attention to maintaining an old world feel in the town, horse drawn carriages (approx $80) and unique shopping areas were perfect. Visitor friendly with public restrooms in town. The town pretty much closes down by 10pm each night which is actually ok and seems to fit the setting. MANY restaurants and places to eat. Zehender's was BUSY and there was a 30 minute wait even with reservations. Plan ahead. The restaurant itself was STUNNING and so festive. Grab a coupon book and map from your hotel. The covered bridge was beautiful and easy to walk thru. Bronner's (the worlds largest Christmas store) was packed. We got there before it opened and still stood in line to get in. Plan on spending a lot more time and money there than you think, lol! They do ship for reasonable prices and pack well to protect. Everyone there is SO nice. This town really knows how to get you in the Christmas spirit!

Frankenmuth is a great place to close to the Detroit area to get away. If you like shopping, food, great scenic walks, Frankenmuth is for you! Of course, Bronner's is an absolute for anyone going to Frankenmuth. We were there three hours and did not even realize it, because we were having a great time. We topped it off with great food and great shopping at Zhenders!
We just wanted a reasonable overnight stay in Frankenmuth and the hotel was perfect.. the room was like a little studio apartment plenty of space and large bathroom, and location is right near the fudge shop and cheese house and walking distance to the whole town really.. my 12 year old grandson was with me so it was an added bonus that it has an indoor pool. Very clean and wonderful front desk people . Would definitely stay here again!
Everything, this was a great hotel and very reasonable.
Underground parking out of the sun.
Good sized room and very comfortable bed.
Nice breakfast - best scrambled eggs we've had in a restaurant for a long time.
Good location.
Nice balcony over looking the river.
the rooms were clean and comfortable. the hotel was at capacity, and was clean, which was impressive with the amount of children running about! wait time for meals was average compared to stand alone restaurants. met our family's needs for quick weekend getaway.
Farmhouse was the perfect getaway with family! Super cute, and plenty of space for everyone, including our canine friends 🧡.. We loved our stay here, and we recommend it if you are looking for a relaxing getaway with family just outside the city of Frankenmuth.
The breakfast was very adequate with eggs, bacon, potatoes, waffles, juice, coffee and yogurt. The hotel smelled very clean. I think they have done recent renovations. The room was very comfortable. The bathroom was a bit small but very adequate.
What was not to like!! Staff went above and beyond friendly! Clean rooms!! I have never stayed at a hotel that served such a great breakfast AND dinner!! I will definitely only stay at Drury Inn and Suits when I travel from now on!!
Everything was great. I liked the options for dining within the hotel and proximity to close by attractions and shopping. This has become an annual tradition for my son’s birthday. He has yet to be disappointed in his stays.
The stay was great but everything in the hotel mostly the food was so expensive…I paid Disney prices. Especially the fast food by the mini golf was overpriced for the frozen food we were serve but facilities were nice.
Exceptionally clean room, friendly staff, centrally located, had a great breakfast and light dinner with beverages. Staying at this hotel was a wonderful experience and I wouldn't think twice about saving here again.
Location was great for exploring. Breakfast was typical continental food. Hotel was clean, convenient to other Frankenmuth attractions and quiet. We decided to stay a 2nd night and they were able to accommodate us.
The location of the hotel was perfect for our weekend plans.
The breakfast was very good and filling.
The staff were all very friendly and helpful. They even turned the train on for my granddaughter.
The staff was friendly and helpful. Megan from the front desk called shortly after we were in our room to see if everything was satisfactory! What hotel does that?! 😀
They know all about customer experoence and exceed all expectations. Staff all friendly & helpful. This is the best hotel. Food is great!! Love all the extras...
