We went to a military swap meet at the airbase and only...
We went to a military swap meet at the airbase and only stayed one night at the hotel. We would have liked to stay atleast 2 to 3 nights but had another engagement. The swap meet was great, my husband restores military HMMWV'S so we were on a mission to get parts. It would have been nice to wander around more, next time!

Hagerstown is a great place to stay when visiting Antietam battlefield. Additionally, it has great facilities for doing laundry and stocking up on items depleted during an extended trip. The choice of restaurants is excellent as well.

Ate at a great, local restaurant downtown.
Ate at a great, local restaurant downtown. Just stayed the night in town as we were coming from Harpers Ferry and were going to see Antietam National Battlefield the next day. I wish I'd taken the time to explore downtown Hagerstown. The architecture was really cool!

An old town with a lot of character and history dating back to the 18th century. The downtown area a a thriving A & E district with lots of unique dining and drinking available. It is the county seat of Washington County, yes that Washington and home to a particularly delicious local food staple that can only be found in this area. You'll have to experience this for yourself. The locals call it a "steamer". Just one of many delightful surprises to behold in Hagerstown.

I went there to see a play at the Washington County...
I went there to see a play at the Washington County Community Playhouse. The play was great. Everyone there is very friendly & accomodating. Food was good. I went too the Hagerstown Roundhouse Museum. They don't have a lot but what they do have is interesting too look at & learn about. They have an engine, several cabooses & some cars & other items outside. They have the last trolley to run in Washington County MD outside their museum. They also have a gift shop. Very friendly folks.
The parking lot was convenient for our cargo van and located near restaurants and grocery stores for later evening curbside pick up. it was well lit and the front desk staff was EXCELLENT at check (we’d just driven 11 hours with a van full of rescue dogs from Ga—and we’re exhausted). After we unloaded them onto the van picking them up, grabbed dinner we really enjoyed our in room jacuzzi tub. Everything was clean and the bed was one of the most comfy hotel beds I’ve ever slept in!
The staff is friendly and the hotel is clean. The pool area looked like a tornado hit it after people or unsupported kids just thrown down the hotel pool towels everywhere.
breakfast was okay, they ran out of syrup 15 mins after breakfast started and did not have anymore and ran out of toppings for the oatmeal.
Our room was beside the interstate and it was noisy, no fault of the hotel… just be aware.
The Super 8 Hagerstown is a nice layover spot. The rooms are clean, the water is hot and the water pressure is very good - very important when you want to relax after a long days driving. I never partake of the breakfast, not because I don't like it, but because I prefer to sleep a little later and then go to the nearby Waffle House.
The hotel was conveniently located. The beds were comfortable. The room was very clean. The staff members were friendly. The breakfast was very good. They were just getting back to the buffet after COVID regulations. Good selection and good coffee!
Hotel has an indoor pool. The King sized bed was nice and firm with a good selection of pillows. Nice TV with a good selection of cable channels. Lighting was okay. Fridge worked. Non smoking room. A small bottle of shampoo/conditioner combo.
Value for money is exceptional. The hotel, room and breakfast area were very clean. Staff at the desk were friendly and helpful. The selection at breakfast was amazing - bacon, sausage, cereal, cheese omelette, toast, pastry - Wow!
The hotel lobby’s appearance and its staff were very welcoming. I usually try to stay at the Hampton Inn just up the road, but not anymore! I’ll be coming back to this Comfort Suites! Comfy beds, clean rooms, best price!
The staff was friendly and efficient. The hotel in general was clean and well maintained. Our room was spacious and very clean. Great location, would recommend and will stay there next time we are in Hagerstown.
We were impressed with this hotel. It seemed new. The breakfast was much better than the usual buffet options; better variety and quality. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
Room was very clean.
The overall experience was great!
The staff was very professional.
We will definitely tell our friends about the hotel and will definitely stay again.
