The breakfast was great and different each morning. The staff was very attentive to questions and helped. It was family-friendly for the children, and parents were very pleased their children had a variety to choose from.

The facility in the common areas were clean. The pool was in pretty good shape except I believe the pump was off and the heater was not heating the water properly though.

The beauty of Richmond, I traveled when it was very green and the forests were in full bloom. The wedding location that I attended for my friends ceremony was magnificient. Richmond was easy to walk around on foot, full of little stores and places to eat. I used uber when I needed to with zero hassle. I personally loved the dog friendly areas and parks/ wide open spaces.

Customer service at the hotel was terrible Was built twice on my credit card for the same room. Tried to discuss the problem with the manager of the hotel, but he said he was too busy busy and transferred me to someone else. This is probably the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in would not recommend it.

We were only there for a day and went to a couple of museums but there's so much to see. We needed more time to cover more places. The history of this city is incredible. We highly recommend a visit if you're any type of history lover.

The best part was the free charging stations for the electric vehicles. The breakfast was mediocre and the check in process was horrible. Also they charge your cc before you ever arrive and it was not the booking rate I saved on this website and they blame that on booking.com . Additionally they accept no forms of payment other than credit card no cash. This place and room were not worth the price nor the 150.00 incidentals hold that still has not been released and I’m 2 days out. I wouldn’t stay here again.

I wish I had more time to do other things, but I got a lot done in the three days I was there. I went on a few city tours, and I can't say enough good things about the food. If you get a chance I would do a discover richmond food tour. It was great learning some of the history and enjoying food.
Location is spot-on, you're right in the middle of downtown Richmond and can easily walk to plenty of restaurants and bars. Staff are great; they are really helpful and kind, from the bartenders of the Byrd House to the valet car drivers. Also, it's hard to beat a rooftop pool - though you'll want to try to go during "non-peak" hours as there are not a lot of tables and chairs to accommodate more than 10-12 people at once.
I frequently stay at Virginia Crossing when I have business in Richmond. In my opinion it’s the best hotel for the money. The grounds are immaculate, the staff is A+ and the rooms are perfect. The breakfast buffet is delicious as well as the dinners in The Tavern. Both are just a walk across the beautifully landscaped courtyard. I can’t say enough about Virginia Crossing. I’m looking forward to staying again soon.
We had a spacious room with comfortable beds. It was quiet for sleeping. It was great to be able to get up and go and help ourselves to breakfast.
The breakfast included hot food like eggs, sausage, waffles and toast, and also cold options such as cereal, yoghurt and fruit.
There is ample parking some of it in the shade.
The price was affordable and good value compared to other hotels we were considering.
Hotel was within walking distance of downtown and comfortable. The front desk staff were outstanding - very helpful in telling us about the different parts of the city and where to eat. Bed and pillows were comfortable. Lighting was a bit dim, but not a problem since just slept in the room. Liked having outlets and USB ports on the bedside lamp!!
Room were very clean and bathroom was spotless. Beds were comfortable and cozy. I was travelling to my mom place. I liked the cleanliness of the property. This is located very conveniently on broad street. I liked the facilities they offer in the budget friendly price like refrigerator and microwave. Overall it a value for money stay.
The location is the best when we visit Richmond! Easy to get around the area by car. The gentleman at the front desk when we checked in is so professional and welcoming. The rooms are a great size and it's always nice to have an extra little sink and mirror with the suite.
The breakfast was amazing, the hotel was clean, everyone was polite, the only problem I had, was housekeeping kept coming to the room, they started at 9:30, and again around 10:30, to the point I called downstairs to make sure check out time was 12:00.
I liked all hotel staff, especially Cindy! she was very helpful. The location was great, not far from downtown and close the shopping center like 10-15 drive max. Overall, enjoyed my stay here, and the price is reasonable for what you get.
We stayed only for one night but found the hotel very comfortable, very big room, had a pool on the roof, and a rooftop bar. No breakfast included but a cafe in the lobby area serving breakfast (one person so service was a bit slow).
The room is big and spacious. The living area is separate from the bedroom. Our unit looked into the Capitol park. Valet parking worked well. Near to eateries. We joined a free guided tour of the Capitol.
not safe!! Their client is a drug addict and they insulted me several times!
I went into the room and couldn't come out because of the people squatting in the hotel.
The room smelled of cigarettes
Breakfast was good. A little crowded but expected for a sold out hotel. I love the shower. The water was consistently hot the entire time. It was quiet which was exactly what I was looking for.
The room had a fridge and microwave! Very spacious and the water pressure in the shower is one of the best I've ever seen. The breakfast had a lot of food options and good coffee and milk.
it’s located very well. the room was clean enough, bathroom needs a fan, updated bathroom and entrance in the room. decent for the price. 6 min drive to downtown, perfect.
The Berkeley is a lovely cozy hotel. It’s location is excellent for getting around Richmond. Rooms are well appointed. The staff - welcoming and friendly.
More quiet than most hotels in Richmond, comfortable beds, good pricing, rooms smell clean and sanitary, lots of stores etc close by next door to Rosies
