The location was perfect for our stay. We were less than a 5 minute drive to Lionshead gondola. The rooms were a little dated but clean and comfortable, and the hotel was quiet. We were very impressed with the ski rental (inside the hotel) which made for easy access and returns. They also offered a discount to hotel guests. The bar was also very nice and kid friendly. The bar restaurant and Indian restaurant both close at 9 pm which is something to think about if you arrive late. The hotel has parking both outside and a garage option. Breakfast is free - pasties and coffee plus around 4 pm they brought out warm cookies.

It is all about the skiing for most people, and the Vail ski resort is amazing. Hard to beat as a ski destination. It is generally a very expensive place to stay but there are many options available to you.
As a town, feels a bit disjointed with the two main locations of Vail Village and Lionshead being separated. If you come without your own transport, get used to having to take buses/shuttles most places. Having said that, the transport system is incredibly good once you work it all out. Lots of places to eat, moreso in Vail Village.
As it is also under Epic Pass, easy to ski Beaver Creek during your stay in Vail, with a great (free) bus service mostly every 20 mins from Vail to BC and only takes about half an hour. It is a shame that the same is not available for Breckenridge, another Epic resort.

Amazing mountain!
Amazing mountain! You can’t beat the vastness of this mountain. There is something for everyone and every level of skiing.
The village is awesome with plenty of restaurants and shops. I would avoid this place on busy holiday weekends.

We visited during the autumn when the aspen colors were at their peak. Incredible views everywhere. Nice warm sun and cool nights. Village was pretty quiet as it was "between seasons" which made for a very relaxing visit, with no waits for restaurants, etc. Very easy to walk around the public areas.

Vail is a beautiful and extreemly well mantained town.
Vail is a beautiful and extreemly well mantained town. It is a credit to the locals who seem to take great pride in their town. It has the benefit natural beauty with its surrounding mountains. The free electric bus service that teavels around the town is a great way to see the sights including the Betty Ford Alpine Gardens which are well worth a visit .

I don’t recommend this property to rent .
1 custom service it’s very bad if you getting problem and asking to be fixed they never doing even you reach to they’re management
I rented this property for 5 nights and when I arrived was very cold I reached to them to fix they never did so I pent 3 nights in cold rooms where the heater is not working
The fire place completely not working
To take showers it’s impossible the water is just little ear don’t com hot water
The rooms on all the furniture dusting
I check out 2nits in advance relating with contortions of cold in rooms and they refuse to return money for two nights .
Very bad experience I don’t recommend no one to rent this property…
Hotel was in a great location. Just about "ski in ski out" if you know how to do it. Very comfortable and large lobby with a fireplace, bar, cozy couches. And they do a good job of a simple and straightforward Ski valet. It sits at the east edge of Vail village, and thus its 5 min to walk to just about any restaurant. Theres a decent fridge in the room, so you can keep drinks and breakfast, to save a bit of time and money.
The Residence Inn was a great choice for us in Vail. The hotel has all the amenities you need for your ski trip. Their shuttle service to Vail Village is very convenient and runs every 15 minutes until 10pm. Parking is great! Without knowing too much about other hotels in Vail, I think it is an excellent option in terms of price/benefit without ever feeling like a low-cost hotel (which it is not). 100% recommended.
Place was sooo nice! Michelle have everything you need available even down to toothpaste. She is ultimate host and the place was exquisite. Would recommend this place to everyone wanting to enjoy the quintessential Vail Colorado experience. Bus stop for getting to Vail village was literally 100ft away and the bus comes every 10-15min so it was extremely easy to get to the base of the mountain and the village.
hotel location was centrally located within Vail Village with parking beneath the hotel.
the room over looked a bubbling creek.
The lobby was undergoing an update so as to be ready for the ski season. I was notified both by phone and e-mail to keep me informed and offered the opportunity to cancel if I was not satisfied.
The employees were super and went out of their way to make our stay special,
The townhouse is equipped with everything needed and feels very cosy and warm. We were 6 people and there was sufficient space for everyone, including 3 bathrooms. The place is located around 10-15 mins drive from Vail and Beaver Creek, so generally convenient for skiing. Would come back here anytime!
Everything except the attitude of some of the staff, especially that of one of the bartenders. The guy was rude and had a very poorly stocked bar and always saying that the bar was closing at 8.30 pm. Imagine closing a hotel bar at 8.30 pm on Christmas Week in Vail Colorado……
The location is awesome, an easy walk to Vail Village and to the Ford Amphitheater/gardens. The property is well maintained with beautifully landscaped flowers and trees. The room size and kitchen accoutrements were great. The staff were very friendly.
Excellent condo in the #1 location in Vail Village! Mountain Haus was a very nice upscale condominium property with all the amenities. Great pool and Jacuzzis. Super easy access just a few feet from everything in the village. Loved it!
The three bedroom apartment was spacious and clean, it had all the necessary amenities. Vail downtown is approximately 5 minutes by car from the premises.
We will definitely stay here again once we visit Vail again.
Christiania Lodge is one of the oldest hotels in Vail Village and is located just a short walk from shops, restaurants and the ski gondola. it has a charming feel, but shows it’s age.
Excellent location in E. Vail. Great for families as well. We really enjoyed the eat in kitchen/dining area. We also enjoyed our morning coffee on the upstairs bedroom deck. Perfect!
Nice location in the center of Vail Village. Hearty breakfast included. Quaint European hostel atmosphere in the lobby . The room was good sized and the beds were comfortable.
The hotel served its purpose for us for this trip. I doubt we will visit Vail again but if we did, we would probably elect to stay in a condo. We did appreciate its location
We love staying at Vail Run Resort! It’s close to lionshead and vail village. The hotel shuttle is super convenient and it’s such a laid back, feels like home type place!
Perfect Vail stay. Kenny at the front desk was great - incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. The shuttle to the lifts worked well. Easy parking, good room for us.
The location, facilities, room size, the outdoor spas, the games room, the ease of access for ski gear and rental. So many things we loved about The Sebastian!
