Located 7 km from Siracusa, Agriturismo Papyrus features an outdoor pool and a private museum. Rooms offer a satellite flat-screen TV and free WiFi is available in public areas. The best agrotourism I've ever been to, and there were quite a few. Private parking, easy to walk, fantastic staff and beautiful surroundings with domestic animals. Unforgettable

Surrounded by its 10000 m² garden with hammock among the olive trees, Agrisicilia (Relax Mare e Natura) is located in Marinella di Selinunte, 2.9 km from Selinunte Archaeological Park. The camping is situated in a side road of a main one. It is not ideal walking around the neighbourhood but we've been visiting the city of Marinella di Selinunte nearby and the temples reaching them by car which are at a very short car distance (10min or less). The whole place is set in the middle of the nature, we've been unlucky with the weather but during sunny and summer days this place best be marvellous. What I did not expect was the level of cleanliness, it was WOW. We booked 2 houses, each of them with a bedroom and a toilet. Every single detail was perfect and the design too. Breakfast was simple but good.

Situated in Agrigento, 30 km from Heraclea Minoa, Agriturismo La Casa di Bacco features accommodation with pool with a view, free private parking, free bikes and a garden. It's a small farm/vineyard, where you can get a new view to countryside of Sicily. It's very cozy, very local, nice for kids. Unbelievable dinner, the best caponata I ate in Sicily. They even have a degustation menu for kids. And of course their own wine. The quest to get to the farm is also a journey :) just follow their direction they text you on whatsapp and you get there. And very very friendly owners

B&B Villa San Marco is located actually in Agrigento's Valle dei Templi, only 500 metres from the major Greek temples. Its large garden includes a swimming pool. The location with views of the temples was second to none and worth the bumpy track it takes to get there. If you are not an animal person this is not the place for you. Salvatore and the family are the most welcoming and helpful hosts. Breakfast was excellent with the temple view, virtually all home mad3 from their own ingridients. Oustanding.

Set in beautiful countryside less than 1km from Piazza Armerina, Villa Trigona is an 18th-century building with large gardens, where you can enjoy a peaceful atmosphere and numerous sports. Beautiful villa and garden, very friendly and helpful staff. Excellent food. Make sure you reserve dinner! Very close to Villa Romana del Casale and Piazza Armerina.

A recently renovated holiday home in Agrigento and within 36 km of Heraclea Minoa, PALAZZO ZUPPARDO LUXURY features a shared lounge, comfortable soundproof rooms and free WiFi. We was 2 weeks in sicilia. This Apartment was the best of our trip.

In the centre of Catania, located within a short distance of Catania Piazza Duomo and Catania Cathedral, Terrazza San Camillo offers free WiFi, air conditioning and household amenities such as a... The apartment was spacious and well equipped. Two floors, rooftop balcony, spacious, modern, great kitchen. And great host.

La Pietra di Giada has a balcony and is located in Siracusa, within just 600 metres of Porto Piccolo and 1.6 km of Tempio di Apollo. The apartment was super cosy. Big and extremely clean, it was a great value. Communication was very good, self check in was easy, and parking was easily available in the street. As a big plus, it was nicely decorated for Christmas, making us feeling home!

Set in the centre of Siracusa, Al Settimo porta marina offers accommodation with free WiFi in a historic building. The accommodation is beautiful, comfortable and in a perfect location. Vincenzo and his son Michele did everything to make us feel welcome. When we visit Sicily again, Al Settimo porta marina will be our choice again.

Boasting inner courtyard views, Casa vacanze donna Pina features accommodation with a garden and a balcony, around 500 metres from Palermo Cathedral. Everything was amazing, the host was super helpful and friendly, the apartment was super new, well kept and clean, with comfortable and beds, amazing pillows, everything was smelling good and clean, there was even coffee, water and sodas as a welcome to the guests and laundry detergent. The location was excellent, near the main attractions in the historical center and a walking distance to restaurants and shops
