The room was nice and rather spacious, which was perfect for our needs (3 cosplayers and equipment). It was clean and comfortable with all amenities. The theming of the hotel with chocolate decoration goes form the lobby tot he room itself and is tasteful enough without being too much.

A Slice of Stunning Switzerland
Set on slopes by Lake Geneva, Lausanne is a laidback and liveable city. The views of the lake and dramatic peaks of the Alps are simply stunning, especially from Sauvabelin Tower in the northern woods.
Surrounded by vineyards, this is an outdoor lifestyle city great for sports including sailing, cycling and hiking. In fact, many international sporting governing bodies and the International Olympic Committee are based here. There is also an excellent Olympic Museum. In winter, Lausanne skiing options include the Jura Mountains to the north-west, and the Valais canton south-west of the lake.
By the lake (Lac Léman in French) is the Ouchy port area, home to many of the Lausanne hotels and restaurants. To the north is the Flon district, known for its lively nightlife popular with students.
The cobbled Old Town – the Cité – is a Swiss Heritage Site on a hill at the city’s highest point. It houses the castle and Lausanne Museum, both watched over by the multi-spired Notre-Dame cathedral. At the foot of the hill are 3 squares with markets, one of which – Place Riponne – is on the Metro.
This is the world’s smallest city with a Metro, an indicator of the wonderfully efficient Swiss transport system, meaning that Geneva Airport (the closest to Lausanne) is easily reachable.

The quaint city is an hour away from Geneva.
The quaint city is an hour away from Geneva. Being on the banks of Lake Geneva, Lausanne is easily accessible to Evian by ferry. The lake edge is really stunning and allows one to spend a lazy day walking around. The Olympic museum is quite fascinating, and the aquarium at Aquaticusis very interesting for both adults and children. Do not miss the Farmer's market in the centre of town every Saturday morning where you can get some of the freshest produce possible.

We really enjoyed visiting the old town starting from the Cathedral, which although its undergoing restoration you can still go inside. The walk from the cobbled streets outside the Cathedral down to the train station is worth it, but you'll need comfy shoes to navigate the steep descent to Lausanne Station. The lakeside is a must see including the Olympic museum.

Try to avoid staying over on Sunday.
Try to avoid staying over on Sunday. All the shops are closed after 6 pm to 6.30 pm from Monday to Saturday and close on Sunday. So we feel wasted 1 day on Lausanne as it is Sunday. We only can walk around visit Churches and window shops on Sunday.

Lausanne is a fantastic city.
Lausanne is a fantastic city. The lake is simply stunning and if you are a tourist I think staying by the lake is possibly better than being in the city as it is so beautiful and changes all the time. The city has some nice upmarket shops and some lovely restaurants. There is a great metro service to get you up and down the hill and most hotels give you a free pass for this. There are lots of young people in Lausanne and all the restaurants and bars are very busy. We visited Montreux by train and Gruyeres by bus and Evian les Bains across the lake by boat.

I traveled to other places in France a Switzerland.
I traveled to other places in France a Switzerland. The train station is just 3 stops away from the hotel. The hotel is just above the metro station. When you arrive using the metro, you must take the elevator to floor E1. The hotel is just in front of the elevators to the left. Very well located! In Lausanne, we enjoyed the lake walk, the Olympic museum, the Place du Palau, the wood stairs. Just walking the city is relaxing. The cafes, the restaurants and shops are first class. We stayed 12 days and 11 nights. We wanted to stay longer. We love Switzerland ❤️
The room had immediate access to an inner lovely court with easy access to the EPFL, restaurant, exhibition centers and supermarkets. The metro station is a few steps away from the hotel entrance. I mean, literally. Upon arrival, we were given free transportation tickets for the duration of our stay, which is a real gift when you know the price of a single bus/metro ticket in Switzerland.
We LOVED this boutique hotel!! We were upgraded upon our arrival by a super helpful & friendly staff member. She answered all of our questions. The breakfast room was beautiful and offered lots of different options. Staying in Lausanne, we were given a free transit pass which made getting around so simple. We will definitely return to this hotel for a future stay.
I've been for the 2nd time to this hotel. And the reason why I came back was that I enjoyed it the first time. Which happened again, it did not disappoint.
I love how clean and modern is! and the staff is so great!
The wi-fi is great, breakfast has enough options and it's located in a nice area
My first option in Lausanne, every time
Very good wifi within rooms, very comfortable beds.
Outstanding cleaness, very bood bathrooms with all sanitary.
Outstanding position: 5 minutes from Lausanne Flon, 2 minutes from Lausanne Central Gare.
The Panoramique rooms are larger than average.
Hotel staff gives you a transport card to use Lausanne public transport for free
Very great location and the hotel is nicely decorated. The staff is great! They have a superbe rooftop to have drinks at night. We were happy to be able to park our car 5m away and the hotel offers a 50% discount. It was only 15€ for 24h (with the discount) so very affordable and cheaper than parking in Paris where we are from.
With some friends we decided to visit some places in the Canton Vaud. We stayed one night in Lausanne, in Hotel Bellerive. What a lovely stay! Everything was perfect: the rooms were even bigger and nicer than expected! They were clean and the beds very comfortable. The staff was incredibly kind. Would recommend!
We absolutely loved everything about the Beau-Rivage Palace. The property is gorgeous, the cuisine was fabulous, and the staff was first rate! in fact, we would say the staff was the best in the world! They were the difference makers between this and similar resort-hotels. A+
The room was very big and cozy. There was plenty of space for three adults. The bathroom had a bath which is unlike switzerland. They staff were very friendly. The hotel is in the middle of town right next door to a metro station which was perfect.
The breakfast was amazing! Realize that you are staying at a hospital hotel. It was super cool to see the new parents having meals with their babies and families. Our room was very nice, the bathroom was great, and the beds were comfortable.
Nice breakfast. The bar is excellent at a fair price and they serve food till late. Location is excellent next to lots of bars and restaurants. The room design is cool and comfortable. Friendly Hotel, different concept of Hotel.
Beautiful, tasteful, quiet. I loved that the style of typical Lausanne flats was preserved and not the same aseptical cold style than in every modern hotel. The painting reproductions are gorgeous!
Nice family run hotel, needs renovation, but staff compensate for that. Excellent location for trainstation (you just need to climb 70 steps which is good for your condition).
Beautiful location on the lake. Hotel is very nice and the restaurant looks good, though we did not eat there. Would definitely like to stay again for a longer time.
Incredibly well kept hotel. Gorgeous property and view. Nice amenities such as heated pool, bikes and spa room. Room was lovely and had everything we needed.
The room was nice, with comfortable beds. The bathroom was beautiful and contained a large shower, which is pretty unusual for a hotel and highly appreciated!
Great and spacious room. Staff was very gentle and everything was nice. Expensive but good value taking into account the prices of the hotels in Lausanne.
