A superb area of The Black Country. Lots of great hotels and apartments to stay in, not too far from Birmingham, to reach by bus or train, to leave your car behind. Lots of great pubs, so no need to lower your standards by using a Weatherspoon's same with food, fantastic ethnic variety to choose from, so no need to lower your standards by using Mcdonald's or KFC.

Our visit was to Aldridge/ Walsall and sorry to say we won't be rushing back. Took daughter to stay at her partners, we booked Barons Court Hotel to have a meal, stay overnight and do something the following day in the area as we had stayed previously and enjoyed ourselves. Hotel review partly reflects how the facilities and area has changed for the worse. Hotel run down, rooms are a shadow of how they appear on the photos. Used the Horse and Jockey pub across road for a meal and drink. Meal okay then found out it was closing down in two weeks to become a Lidl. Looked at next pub to go to, drove down and found out it was a Co op. Nothing else to do so stayed in hotel TWO hours then left for home after dropping daughter off. Certainly no plans to revisit anytime soon.

We went to see Noddy Holder at Walsall Arena Arts Centre. It was an amazing evening. The Beverly Hotel was perfect for my wife and myself. Very friendly and helpful staff. The food was amazing and cooked and served exactly how we wanted it. Very impressed with the stay there and will be back as we have family and friends living close by. So
Thank you for the staff and the enjoyable stay there. Peter Hevican.

Not a lot of independent choices when eating out.
Not a lot of independent choices when eating out. Just the usual chain eateries which make the place feel tacky. Ended up in TFI Fridays due to lack of good choices. It made do as I was only there to carry out a job but I wasn't bowled over by the place. Only good thing was a cool little Caribbean bar called Pimientos across from the station to grab a beer. It felt like entering someone's sitting room.

I found that all the staff were local and very knowledgeable about the area and had worked at the hotel for many years. I would recommend the hotel for conference meetings and a good place to hold wedding receptions. I also found the the food and accommodation exceptional for the price and have already recommended the hotel to other people. I will also be booking again in July when I will be visiting Walsall again.
The Lyndon House Hotel is a very friendly and welcoming Hotel with bags of character. The Bar area is very traditional and has a good selection of drinks at reasonable prices and the evening menu is your standard pub fayre, once again at reasonable prices and very tasty. The Breakfast has a reasonable selection and is prepared to order from the standard cooked options with additional continental choices also available. The room was spacious, tidy and had all the normal in-room facilities.
I didnt check into hotel lady phoned me and asked for £200.00 and said I cant go hotel until I pay £200.00 I have been in the cold all night not eaten and was not given a room at all but your company took money from me I'm now still on the street hungry and very tired and i
I got wet drenched in the rain and stranded because you took my last but of money I'm starving aswell I have not eaten because booking. Com took my money
Great location for ease into Birmingham city. Train station behind hotel, 20 minute journey into Birmingham. Frequency of trains great. Free car park onsite very useful. Great breakfast with selection of cold and hot foods (yoghurt, fruit, cereal, cold meats, fruit juice/coffees, hash browns, baked beans, sausages, bacon as well as breads & pastries). Nice sized tidy twin room, with TV. Good bathroom, big shower.
Everything, friendly staff good value accommodation and meals. Initially I booked for the wrong day and arrived a day earlier than planned but the manager & staff accommodated me and quickly arranged a room, very happy and if I happen to be in the area again I would have no hesitation in staying there again
Thanks again
Love the food I had. Absolutely awesome.
Love the bar area, wine etc.
Staff are lovely. Cannot fault them.
Rooms are always spotlessly clean and tidy.
Love the location and private free parking especially at the rear of the hotel.
Just love this hotel. Even with the few imperfections.
Great Price.
I think some distinction needs to be made for where taxi drivers should put customers off..my Uber driver had me at the back of Parsons way. If you are new to the area some guidance should be given for safe drop off point and direction for property since it is off road.
The staff are fantastic, they're really helpful, chatty and friendly. The breakfast was lovely. The hotel is old and quirky but the rooms were clean and cosy. I liked that it was 24 hour access, even though I didn't need it.
It place was beyond my expectations. Its not a hotel proper house.pretty clean, has a great parking area behind the flat and gorgeous kitchen to cook your own food if anyone has its own dietary...Highly recommend.
The hotel was really cute a comfy and warm all night which was good and we had parking which was really handy and a lot of shops near by
There was tescos 5 mins away but loads of little shop around the area
Nice clean modern hotel, and very quiet despite it's position next to the M6. Staff were friendly and helpful. Location was perfect for access to M6 at junction 10 and all local amenities.
One of the best hotels in the area. Nicely situated and easy to get to. Wonderful hotel that we'd stay in over and over again whenever we go up to the Midlands. Can't fault it
Booked at the last minute and was the cheapest I could find, half the price of nearby Premier Inn. Plenty of Free parking onsite. Downstairs area is nicely decorated.
