We loved the view over the roof tops and the partial sea view. The staff were exceptionally friendly and indulged my attempts at Greek for which many thanks! The breakfast was pretty good. We are vegan and it can be hard to cater for us but we didn't go hungry, and we provided our own plant milk. The hotel is very central but also quiet. A wonderful place to stay.

Perfect location. Six minute walk from bus station,10 minutes from port.
Enough eating places for the scale of the town.
The room was clean with a lovely sea view and the reception lobby was comfortable and welcoming. We were able to leave our luggage in a secure room on the day of departure, until our ferry.
Adequate breakfast, too.
No faults at all.
Thank you

The view was amazing and the location was peaceful. It was also very close to the beach so we could go for a swim. There were tea light candles which we lit to have a candlelit dinner on the balcony.

Sitia isn't of itself pretty, but the region that surrounds it is full of treasures from Minoan sites and geological wonders through to highly trekkable gorges and ravishing views. A car is essential and exploring is well worthwhile for the smiles per mile.

Sitia is a small town, not very touristy as it's so far east. You need a car to get to Sitia and it's not an easy drive. However, it's definitely worthwhile making the effort to get there as it's a lovely town with a great beach . There are lots of excellent restaurants overlooking the sea.

If you're looking for a not too touristic, rather quiet place (of course, worth the compulsory beach bars and restaurants area), not too expensive but still nice and with friendly locals, that's your place.
Not much to see/ visit in the city itself (not to say nothing at all) and also not the side of the island with a lot of stuff but I bet if you rent a car and go to Agios Nicolaos or the villages around you'll have a great time. Some stunning views on the way too!

I cannot tell if Sitia beach is good or bad, but on the eastern side of the island 20-30 km-s away there are fantastic beaches for sure.
The view of the town from the east is wonderful.
The stairs inside the town, with cats on them are charming.
The people are kind.
I could rent a car cheap, and travel around. I have seen nice places, for example the Toplou monastery...

Cute city, lovely beaches.
Cute city, lovely beaches. Kalamia beach had great vibes, music, best Greek yogurt.
Very very very steep and narrow roads. If you're not proficient with stick shift, get automatic or don't drive. Very scary to drive.
Otherwise if you are good with walked, great Greek village. Lots of nice restaurants.
Simple.
Fantastic location and incredible service.
Far enough to be quiet but a nice stroll away from Sitia harbour.
The flat was impeccable, spacious with great beds, terrace overlooking the city and the sea, fully equipped kitchen etc...
Elma and her team were more than helpful, friendly, knowledgeable and professional. Couldn't ask for more.
If you need a great spot to be able to do day drips in the far est of Crête, stay here !
Excellent hospitality! The house was great!! Very big and very clean, ideal for family and friends. The location was excellent, very close to Sitia and the very nice beaches of this part. Mrs Foteini and her family were the absolute hostesses. They brought us fresh fruits and traditional raki and their wine :) ah! Also delicious kalitsounia. In general everything was perfect! Definitely we will go again!
The staff was super welcoming and gave us plenty of suggestions about restaurants, activities and places to visit. We left the car in the public parking bear the beach and walked to the hotel - that was for the best, as the streets in the old town are quite narrow. The hotel looks a bit dated, but we actually got a comfortable, upper floor room with amazing view over the city and the sea.
This is a remarkable place to stay. View to sea and town from balcony is exceptional. Very close to sitia in 3 min
Finding parking in Sitia is pretty easy. Free parking for apt is on site
Owners are wonderful. Has washing machine. Very clean. Met us on timely fashion since we prearranged it on booking

Owned by a family. Sorry to have to leave
Lovely renovated stone house with a wonderful view. We enjoyed our stay very much. From fresh oil to raki, everything was in the house. We loved to have our breakfast at the terrace before starting to explore the east of Crete. A very good place to discover Sitia, Vai and the mountains. Thanks to Manos and his lovely family. They are so kind!
We spent most of our time on the outdoor enjoying the panoramic view! The indoor is set up for entertainment, with musical instruments and a snooker/ping pong table! We used as a base to explore the beaches on the east coast and go for dinner at Sitia at night. The host left us some treats and made us feel like family!
Sitia is a lovely, not too busy town. The apartment was an easy walk.into town along the seafront. It was very spacious and comfortable. It had a balcony overlooking the sea the bed was incredibly comfortable. Swimming beach was very close. I would highly recommend this place.
Michaela and her husband were very welcoming! Lovely, large villa 5 min drive from central Sitia and a short drive to some amazing beaches/swimming spots. The villa has a huge pool and fantastic BBQ facilities. We had a great stay and highly recommend!
A very cosy and hospitable place to stop in Sitia! Conveniently located to explore the eastern part of Crete and its attractions.
The main is the amazing area with the pool and the magnificent garden.
The room is cosy and spacious for the family.
The room was well apportioned, with everything you’d expect from a more expensive accommodation. The location couldn’t be better…just steps from Sitia’s harbor. The friendly and kind owners went out of their way to help us when we had car trouble.
Owner was very polite and responded really quick to questions. You can enjoy the nice view from the balcony every morning during your breakfast.
The center of the town is easy accessible per foot.
The kitchen is fully equipped.
Very good staff on the reception. Thank you for the taxi early in the morning.
Big room on the backsite of the hotel with nice view on the town.
Close to the very nice beach and the restaurants.
The location of the hotel is very good (be aware that during evening, the road in front of the hotel is closed, only pedestrians can pass) and the view from the room was great
Ageras breakfast was amazing. Location was walkable to downtown Sitia and the beach. Would stay again and again here! Kitchen and fridge were great as well for cooking.
We spend a few days in this wonderful hotel wish we could have stayed longer. Dmitri and his family were so kind and helpful. Always there to greet you with a smile.
Nice view, clean and spacious apartment, great location to explore the eastern part of Crete. The hosts were very kind and gave us useful tips about the area.
