The unique Hôtel Les Armures hotel housed in a 17th-century building in the heart of Geneva's old town boasts a unique historic atmosphere, charming rooms and fine cuisine. I am so happy to have found this hotel. It’s an absolute treasure, The location is great, just a stones throw from the high street, yet it has peace and privacy, as it’s nestled in the heart of the old town on a magical cobblestone street. The restaurant has a nice ambiance, with authentic suits of armour and ancient candlestick chandeliers. Their fondue is phenomenal. The room (prestige suite) was beautifully appointed, and very spacious. The rain head shower was great. I was also pleasantly surprised by the quality of the soundproofing, there was no noise whatsoever. David and staff were fantastic, and very accommodating, they really went above and beyond during our stay. This is now my hotel of choice in Geneva.

The family-owned Hotel Central is located in the heart of Geneva, a few minutes' walk from the Horloge Fleurie / Flower Clock and the Jet d'Eau fountain on Lake Geneva. We had a junior suite with a small balcony. Large room. Great staff. Good security. No breakfast but they have a deal worked out with the restaurant next door to give you a breakfast at a reasonable price. Great location near sightseeing . Stores and restaurants. You get a local travel pass for free emailed to you the day before.
