The Gastehaus itself is a warm, comfortable, traditional inn, with cheerful, sparkling clean rooms and a wonderful garden of its own alongside a stream. The family who runs the inn is super friendly, welcoming, and ready to help with whatever you need in terms of advice, help with bags, advice, calling a taxi, etc. Note that this is a guest house -- there is no breakfast and no 24-hour service. Given the number of restaurants and bakeries nearby, this was not a problem for us and you can use the kitchen and refrigerator anyway. There is 24-hour coffee and tea. We also like supporting a family-run business like this, where the people really care about the guests and take excellent care of the property. We enthusiastically recommend the Gastehaus and are already looking forward to a return visit!
