The owner was amazing, he offered to drive me to the market and/or a restaurant and gave me some fresh local cheese, sausage and bread from his own house because the winter offerings were limited. The heat worked very well and the room was set up well.

Spacious room . Very central. Warm and cozy. Very big bathroom. Very frientry staff . It was very thougtfoul to have free water and fruits waiting for us after a long walking in The Camino.

The hotel was closed to the Camino as well as restaurants and shops. The host was super helpful. The swimming pool was great after a warm day on the Camino.

Beautiful property. Manolo checked me in and showed me the laundry room in case I had some Camino / pilgrim things that needed a refresh. The guesthouse grounds and interiors are nicely decorated, high quality finishes and made for a lush-comfortable stay right on the Way of St James. Clara was welcoming in the Resto-Bar. The food, beverages, selection, service and prices were excellent. I would come here for a weekend getaway and try to take advantage of the pool. It’s still winter so I just enjoyed the view.

Love this place. Rooms were clean and organized. Our luggage was already in the room and we leave it there when we left. We received a warm welcome from the hostess which provided to us instructions a recommendations for our visit. Will stay again. It includes an amazing Spanish Breakfast for a good start of El Camino again.

This is a wonderful old manor house (Pazo) and outbuildings which have been converted into a beautiful and comfortable hotel. It was highly recommended to me by a friend - I was walking the Camino de Santiago with my son - and it still exceeded my expectations. The welcome is friendly and attentive and the service excellent. The rooms and the whole place generally are beautiful. The food in the restaurant is absolutely exceptional and the wine list outstanding. The breakfast is similarly exceptional. The Pazo is located about a kilometre from Arzua, and the Camino del Norte passes within a few metres of it as to heads towards the joinup point in the town with the Camino Frances. This place is more than worth the little detour even at the end of a long walking day and the kindly owner dropped us in the town the next morning to resume our walk.
