This is the best hostel we've stayed in during all of our Japan trip. Staff/hosts are exceptional, absolutely welcoming people. They speak English pretty well (which is rare in Japan). The bar is super nice and a great place to meet travellers or chat with the staff. The rooms are very comfortable. The bunk beds were especially spacious. If you took the top bunk. The facilities were clean. The reception was extremely helpful. One of the places you'd want to visit in Hiroshima is Miyajima (Deer Island). If you didn't get the JR pass, you can buy a cheap day pass at the front. You can use it for both the ferry (Not the JR) and the rail cars. The lounge area is spacious and homey. Met some wonderful people here. The hostel is close to a railcar stop, and it's really close to the Peace Park.
